Simon Says: ATC’s

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Tree Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to make:

ATC’s

Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art. Traditionally these are 2.5″ x 3.5″ rectangular cards but now also include Artist Trading Coins which are 2.5″ circles.

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Laura made a set of winter ATC’s using Gel Press backgrounds and various Modascrap Die Cuts and Sentiments.

Andrea made a book-box to hold ATC’s using Whimsy Stamps’ ATC Book Die set. She also used the Fairy Town stamp set from Carabelle Studio and some Be a Rebel washi tape from AALL & Create.

Anna-Karin made three Christmas ATCs. She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Winter Watercolor 2 and The Poinsettia stamp sets.

Barbara created a set of Atc’s inspired by winter colors! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things stamp set, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini stencil set 44, Tim Holtz Sizzix Tall Pines, Tim Holtz Sizzix Snowflakes 3D, and Idea-ology Paper Dolls.

Cheiron created some ATCs to showcase some Engraving Layers she colored in with Frosted Crystal and Distress Mica Crayons. She used some favorite stencils, Stampers Anonymous Field Notes stamps and Distress paints to create her soft grungy backgrounds.

Emma created a pair of Festive ATC’s using Tim Holtz Christmas Collage Paper as a base! She added layers of Christmas Ephemera pieces and completed the ATC’s with Christmas Paper Dolls and Mini Flair Embellishments.

Kath created ATC sized gift card holders and co-ordinating envelopes. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Holiday Things, Weathered Winter, Festive Overlay and Label Frames to decorate and added festive shimmer to the Simon Says Black Cardstock backgrounds and envelopes using Simon Says Citrine and Surf Glitz Glitter Gels from the Handmade Holiday release.

Macarena  made a set of two cute pieces using Tim Holtz Specimen stamp set. She added leaves from Mama Elephant Foliage Frame dies.

Maura made a set of ATC’s with Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous Vintage Things Blueprint stamp set, adding Tim Holtz Holiday Mica Stains, Villainous Potion Distress Oxide and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide inks from Tim Holtz and Ranger.

Meihsia was inspired to create Christmas winter ATCs using Stamperia Classic Christmas 6X6 Paper, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny ClipsTyped Tokens and Small Talk Stickers

Sandra had fun making Christmas ATC’s with Distress Oxide Sprays Speckled Egg and Hickory Smoke and adding some sparkle with Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze and some Tree Line stamping in the background.

Zoey cut off her ATC from Tim Holtz 8.5 X 11 DISTRESS WATERCOLOR CARDSTOCK Ranger. For the background she used a mix of Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks , she also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Collage Paper and Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 50 to add some texture. And the Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Paper Dolls we just perfect!
