Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Recycle Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to make something for:

EASTER/SPRING

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Artsy. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Cassie Lynch aka mk_knits into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Cassie is ready for Spring! She made a card using Paper Artsy Eclectica 3 Kay Carley stamps and a Tim Holtz Thinlit Bunny Die. She used a Saltwater Taffy Reinker to paint the flowers and Salvaged Patina Distress Ink for the background, Saltwater Taffy ink for the bunny and Saltwater Taffy Paint to add splatters. 

Anna-Karin made a spring-time tag with Paper Artsy Tracy Scott Large Stencil. The background was done with various Paper Artsy Infusions Colored Stains.

Barbara created a spring project using a lot of new products! She loves the new die by Tim Holtz Sizzix Brushtroke Butterflies, Tim Holtz Ranger Foundry Wax Kit 1, Idea-ology Pocket Cards. She made a double embossing on the Idea-Ology Paper Dolls Portraits using Ranger Embossing Glaze and Paper Artsy Eclectica 3 Mini 60.

Cheiron created a project using In the Navy Paper Artsy Infusions for her background. She embossed the Tim Holtz Ledger Script stamp in white on top of it and then added some of the new Sizzix Artsy Stems that she added a bit of Statue Foundry Wax to. She finished her card with a Small Talk Sticker sentiment.

Emma invites you to the Easter Bunny Hop and used a combination of Sizzix/Tim Holtz dies including Bold Text 2, Funky Foliage and Bunny Games to create a card that has a background made using Are You Cerise? and Sleight Blue PaperArtsy Infusions.

Kath created a Hello There Spring card using the gorgeous Woven 3D Texture Fade on the background, Bold Text 2 for the sentiment, decorated with Brushstroke Butterflies from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Chapter 2 release and Funky Nature Thinlits, all coloured with PaperArtsy Infusions.

Macarena loves Spring with all its softness and freshness and she made a card and a matching box using Stamperia Romantic Journal papers for the background and Prima Marketing Grungy Frames mould for the focal point. She used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick for coloring the details.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Lawn Chalk Acrylic Paint on the background, and Paper Artsy Rustic Powder on Tim Holtz Sizzix Bunny. Then decorated the tag with Prima Marketing Foliage Hello Pink Autumn Flowers and Tim Holtz Sizzix Bold Text 1 Thinlits Dies.

Sandra made a Spring card using Paper Artsy Infusions Lemoncello, Olive Tree and Green Man for the background, added it in the Texture Paste with the Digits stencil and stamping with it with the Faded Type stamp set
