Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Wild Things Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to have fun Sprinkling and Splattering whatever you make!

Anne went all grungy using stamps and a stencil by AALL and Create, including a #45 Clear Stamp Set,  #64 Curiosity Clear Stamp Set along with a Tim Holtz Mini Etcetera Tag.

Andrea made a tag trio featuring Tim Holtz’s Scribbles and Splat dies.  For the different tag shapes, she used some of her favorite tag die sets: Mama Elephant’s Tags a Lot, Studio Katia’s Dotted Shaker Tag 2, and Waffle Flower’s Surface Tag Starter Kit.

Anna-Karin thought about the sea when seeing the title for this challenge and made an art journal page in memory of a recent time at the sea. She used the Simon Says Stamp Surf’s Up stamp and die sets, as well as new stamps and dies from the Friendly Frolic release.

Barbara used for her card two Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous sets: Sea life  and  Urban tapestry creating her  faux sprinkles together Ranger Copper tinsel Embossing powder. For the background she used Tim Holtz Sizzix Seashells and Funky floral 3.

Cheiron created a background using Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and the Ranger Alcohol Ink Tool Set to create her painted and spattered background using the Simon Says Stamp Beachy Waves stamp. She finished off her card with a bold word from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Shadow Script 2 dies and a Small Talk sticker.

Emma sprinkled a selection of Alcohol Inks onto Yupo paper to create an Alcohol Lift-Ink background for her framed panel. She added various idea-ology pieces onto an Etcetera Tag, including Ruler pieces, Quote Chips and a butterfly from the Butterflies Adornments set.

Kath decorated an Idea-ology Worn Cover to make a colour swatch book for her Distress and Watercolour products using Distress Paints, Splatters Mini Layering Stencil and ALL and Create Border 26 Stamp

Lols made a card using a Dylusions Toadstool Town Cling Stamp Set.She stamped and masked the image before splattering with Distress Resist, When this was dry she blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and sprinkled with Infusions and splattered with Dylusings Ink Sprays.

Macarena sprinkled with white gesso and Prima Opal Magic Violet-Gold paint the kraft tag where Tim Holtz Inventor 3 was stamped and embossed. Below she used Tim Holtz Botanical Collage Paper colored with Tim Holtz Distress Spray Candied Apple and Dylusions Ink Spray Fresh Lime.

Maura worked in her art journal using Seth Apter’s Spellbinders Drip Drop die  along with his Paper Artsy Eclectica3 #09 and #10 stamp sets, and got lots of splatters with Dylusions ink sprays like Bubblegum Pink.

Meihsia was inspired to make a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain for the splatter background and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Ponderings for the sentiment.

 

Sandra made an art journal spread using Jane Davenport Rub Ons and Tape Strips as her starting point and build from there with Opal Magic Paints and Dylusions Spray Fresh Lime and Vibrant Turquoise along with Distress Spray Stain Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio

Zoey used a bunch of Tim Holtz Refill Distress Ink to create the background of this tag, she also used Tim Holtz Word Play ,  Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Botanical and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Photobooth to decorate it
