Watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Markers

kindness top

Hi readers! Happy Tuesday! I’m always so happy to welcome back the bubbly and fun Laura Bassen to our blog as a guest! She always sprinkles in fun trivia in her blog along with teaching so be sure to tune in to find out the plural of Ranunculus! The flower that is about as hard to spell as it pronounce! Ha! I love the way she colored the Painted Kindness in ombre, and added a speckle of black and white ink with a paint brush! You may just have to collect all of the Zig Clean Color Markers after watching this!! Be sure to watch the video, and enjoy!

  1. Stunning card. I have a few of these markers and they are wonderful. Can’t wait to pick up a few more.

  2. What a lovely card! The flowers are so pretty and eye-catching! I’ve never had the Zig Markers to use but they seem to be great for adding color to a card! :)

  3. LOL!!! You should be a COMEDIAN Laura! ;) I like the sound of “Ranunculi!” LOL ANYWAY, I LOOOOOOVE your card! LOVE watching you work! The colors are FABULOUS & the oval cut WAS a SURPRISE! BUT, you pulled it off FABULOUSLY!!!!! ;) SUPER JOB & FABULOUS VIDEO, that just makes me SMILE!!!! :D

  4. Fab card!!! Enjoyed your fun videos. You always bring a smile to my face with your comments. Thank you:)

  5. LoVED this video!! Just got rear-ended by a distracted driver (everyone is ok, but the cars are crunched), anyway, I sooo needed a pick-me-up. THANK YOU Laura and Simon for the calming me down and putting a smile back on my face. You guys are the best!

  6. Just beautiful Laura! I so love your videos, they are so much fun and happy! (I have to admit, I am a little disappointed when you don’t share one but I’ll try and get over that! LOL)

  7. I love these Zig markers.
I gave the copics to my daughter and granddaughter. I was never
    comfortable with them.
Your flowers are wonderful. We had a class on something similar
but the teacher used watercolors to do the flowers. We layered
colors to get the shading – mine never turned out right. I’m going
to use this method – will work so much better. the flowers are
supposed to go into my bible journaling. the teacher will be surprised when
I show her my version of her flowers.
    thanks for sharing.

  8. Ranunculus or ranunculuses…but this looks like a set I will enjoy. I love the little trivia from you Laura, any time.

  11. I love to watch your videos, oh yeah I love, love, love the cards always, but it wouldn’t be a Laura Fadora without all the randomness and also great information that comes with a Laura card!!!! Great fact: I have some ziggies And the flower stamp!!! Now how often does that happen?? Oh yeah I’m smiling!!! Good Luck with that heat and have fun with your lovely family!!!!

  12. Not only are Laura’s creations just stunning, but her videos are so entertaining with her random tidbits of information. Can barely say Ranunculus but yet Laura repeated it proficiently several times or as Ranunculuses or Ranunculi. She is just delightful. I love my Ziggies, too!
