Throwback Thursday – Earth Day Edition!
Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday—a trip back in time!
A new exclusive Simon brand release is headed your way next week (YAY!), but today we’d like to take a look back at some recycled and repurposed projects in celebration of Earth Day! Below you’ll find three inspiring and unique projects that are beautiful AND earth friendly!
First off is this sweet altered clipboard by Shari Carroll:
Shari’s cute project is not only darling, but she was able to use a drinking straw, cardboard, and pop tops to create the petals of the flower. You can see the details of this design by Shari on our blog HERE and of course, she’s made a video showing her process which you can see on YouTube HERE.

Next, let’s throw it back to this fabulous blender brush holder by Lorraine Aquilina:
Lorraine transformed an empty cocoa container into this wow-factor blender brush holder. She used two beautiful and intricate Prima Marketing Moulds and had a blast painting, inking, and stenciling. Lorraine shared this project HERE on her blog where you will find the details of her process.

Thanks for throwing it back with us and checking out these cool projects from three talented ladies. Hopefully these creative ideas will help you to look at everything as a craft project about to happen!
Happy Earth Day!
These are all Fantastic projects!!!
such pretty projects!!
It would be great if SB companies could reduce the amount of plastic they use. Dies, stamps, embellishments etc all are wrapped up in plastic. I hope someday it can be fixed
Beautiful projects and I love the idea of re-purposing things
Very cool! Earth Day is indeed an important holiday that helps people learn about the importance of a clean environment. Every year more and more people join it, who are not indifferent to the future of our planet. If we talk more about this, then the number of people who become conscious will increase.
