exclusive_newtons nook-01

Hi crafty friends! Can you believe we’re into the last week of STAMPtember®?! We hope you love our Newton’s Nook exclusive called, “Bushels of Love“. If you click below you’ll see loads of inspiration with this new stamp set.

Newton’s Nook Designs is made up of a husband and wife team, Jeff and Jen, located in Southern Wisconsin (Go Packers!) Their goal is to provide you with unique and whimsical stamp designs that are fun to use and make you smile!

Newton is Jen and Jeff’s adorable sweet orange tabby cat and the inspiration for Newtons’ Nook name and logo. One of the first stamp designs that Jen sketched was a kitty – just like Newton – so they thought it was fitting that he be the namesake of the company. You can find out more about Newton on his page here.

Thank you for joining us today as we celebrate an awesome company who also named their company after their furry friend.  We named this company Simon Says Stamp after our beloved Boston Terrier, Simon.  Do you have a pet?  We would love to hear what type of pet and his/her name.  Have an awesome week!!

  1. So cute (I like the fox). At my house have an adorable (but stubborn and spoiled) Shih Tzu named Cajun. I think its cool that the company is named after their pet. They are indeed just another member of the family.

  2. Stamptember is so much fun!!! We have many pets– a cocker spaniel named Maggie and four cats!! Lucy, Violet, Booger and Frannie!!

  3. My husband and I have two cats, Sasha and Darius. My kitty is Sasha, aka Sasha Belle. She is the inspiration for my email address and my web address.

  4. Yay, I love Newton’s Nook and this set is adorable! My furbaby is an11 yr old Border Collie-Chocolate Lab named Duncan & my husband has a 9 yr old tortoiseshell shorthair cat named Tori :-D.

  5. So adorable – love Newton Nook’s critters! Lovely cards.
I have a parrot (Nanday Conure) named Rocky Balboa. BUT he thinks he’s a kitty cat (he says “I’m a kitty cat, meow” and when I tell him “no, you’re a pretty bird, he still says he’s a kitty cat! I tried to teach him both, but he never picked up being a bird. lol).

  6. These are all amazingly cute cards. Great work ladies.
We had a cat with double paws so our daughter named him Multi-Toes, but we called him M.T. most of the time. LOL We lost him last summer and he was 21 years old :(

  7. Stamp set is adorable as are the card samples. I have a little blue parrotlet named Nipper. When I saw him for the first time, he was a little biter. Biter wasn’t a cute name, but Nipper sounded perfect. He is an awesome little guy.

  8. I have a beautiful gray cat named Jingles, named after Mr. Jingles from The Green Mile; and will be celebrating his 17th birthday in November

  9. No pets in the home…but when I was little I had two dogs…Bullet (German Shepard) and Bandit (dk?). They were the BEST! Maybe we’ll add one in the future.

  10. cuteness galore!! W have a Black Lab named Thunder, and his furry feline friend is named Tigger. Who is all grey, by the way. My daughter named him. lol

  11. The story of Newton’s Nook stamp co. is nice…love hearing how people start their businesses. The fox is cute, however that wily Raccoon is adorable. lol.

  12. Wonderful critter & Autumn stamps. Yes, I have a pet/fur friend. Her name is Daisy. I adopted/rescued her 2 yrs ago from the shelter. Went each day & walked her and on the 3rd day I brought her home. She was the oldest dog in the shelter at 7 yrs old. I took her thru dog training at Petco and she did well, advancing from the 1st level to the 2nd level and so we completed 2 levels for one cost of training. She had had 2 former owners. The last people had indicated she did not listen when they gave her up. I think that they did not take the time to train her properly and it is as much a people responsibility as it is the dog’s to listen & learn. People tell me she is lucky to have me but I’m lucky to have her.

  13. Newton’s Nook makes such adorable stamp and this one is just as adorable. The card samples are just the cutest. I love the images on the stamp set because you can mix and match them with other Newton’s Nook stamp sets since they are all sized proportionally.

  14. Sweet stamp set! Gorgeous coloring! We have one cat….who actually belongs to our daughter but now lives at Grandma & Grandpa’s house. Gotta admit though that I love him to pieces and would not be able to give him back!

  15. Adorable set and samples! We have a Golden Retriever named Summer Grace, she is adorable and funny, but kind of lazy and doesn’t honor her breed, she likes playing with balls bur never retrieves them. TFS

  16. What an adorable set, especially since I live in a small town where foxes, raccoons and bears (scared of them, but not of Winston *grin*) are native to the area! I was mom to two furbabies years ago: miniature schnauzers named Casey and Squirt. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss them….Thank you for the smile-making showcases today!

  17. Very sweet stamp set. The sample cards were wonderful. Thanks to Newton’s Nook for being a part of the awesome Stamptember from Simon Says.

  18. Love this stamp set. The critters are adorable. I have four mutts. They are all rescues. They are very loving and I love them to pieces. Their names are Wookie, Pandora, Cubana and Tupac.

  19. This set is so cute. I love all the inspiration shared by these ladies. Love it. We travel a lot so we choose not to have a pet. Many years ago we had a beautiful german short hair. He had wonderful personality, this name way Tobias. Thanks for sharing.
