Hi readers! Happy Tuesday to you! We’re always pleased to have Laura Bassen as a guest on our blog each month and this January she gave us not one, but two cards to love using the Combined Hearts dies and the Soaring for You stamp set from the Better Together collection!! Just a little stitching can show so much interest and fun! Be sure to tune into Laura’s video on our Youtube channel to get the full tutorial! Enjoy!

  1. Could this woman get more awesome???? NO!!!! Laura you are fabulous!!!! I’m getting good into my craft studio and gettin my Laura on!!!!!

  2. Laura’s videos are the best. Is there a certain stich length to use?…different lengths for different image size?
    Thanks

  3. These are just the cutest cards! Love the stitching ideas! Since the only sewing I do anymore seems to be on cards, these are terrific inspiration…TFS!

  4. Love Love Love watching Laura! Her cards are always fantastic and the video’s ALWAYS make me smile – I love how much of herself she puts into them :) So real and so FUN!! Thanks Laura!!

  5. I can see I need to dust off my sewing machine! I’ve never tried sewing through paper but I’m not using it for any other sewing, so why not try it, I say! Thanks for the awesome video and for the two beautiful cards – love them both!

  6. Laura, you’re an absolute nut and I love your videos. Anytime I’m having a rough day, I just watch one of your crafty videos, even if I’m not planning on being in the craft room (probably why I’m having a rough day!!).

I love the stitchy hearts… getting the sewing machine out next time!

  7. The “puffed up” effect is so cool. I will have to get out my sewing machine and get busy. Thanks for the inspiration.
