Hi Everyone! I’m Carly and I am over the moon to be here on the SSS blog today to share a card using my very first collection, Beary Sweet by Hero Arts + Carly Tee! My collection Beary Sweet is all about friendship, hugs and silly sweetness! This card has so many of my favorite things…a shaker window, big words, Distress Oxide inks and CANDY! One of the few things I love more than cardmaking is candy! Even paper candy makes me super happy!
This wrapped shaker is very easy to create with the Penny Candy Jar as a window and some crafty trash to create a shaker pocket underneath. Paper candy makes fun shaker bits and is super relaxing to create! Check out the process in the video…

The sound of those tiny shiny discs rattling behind the clear acetate is purely joyful. Constructing an interactive greeting like this adds immense value for the recipient. Can not wait to run some heavy cardstock through my die machine to replicate this festive dimension.
Constructing that transparent pocket for the fluttering sequins is such a clever interactive element. The cuddly character focal point pairs beautifully with those vibrant hues. My stamping stash definitely needs these specific dies!
The way you colored that fuzzy guy is just precious. I constantly struggle with getting smooth shading with my markers without leaving harsh streaks on the paperstock. Adding this layout to my inspiration board right now.
