Keep Calm & Call Me

Hi readers! We are now officially one week into STAMPtember®! We sure hope you’re enjoying it so far! Today I’m pleased to welcome back guest designer Teri Anderson to share something bright & cheery she made using some of her favorite My Favorite Things products.

Enjoy!

Happy STAMPtember! I’m here today with a couple cards made with some products from My Favorite Things!

If you know me well, you know my cellphone is often nearby!  Yes, I’m totally a phone addict… wink! So my cards today have a cellphone-inspired twist!

Both of my cards use MFT’s Friend Request stamp set and Smart Phone Die-namics. I think they are so much fun when you use them together!

For this first card, I created a conversation on the phones. I die-cut speech bubbles from white cardstock. I tinted them blue and green with Copic markers!

That background paper on the card?

Guess what?! I totally made it myself. I cut strips of red and black cardstock. I adhered them to the card and then colored in the open spaces with my green and blue markers. It took a little time, but I think it turned out pretty cool!

I created my own background paper for this card too! I just used few more markers and just black strips of cardstock on the white card for this one.

Before I stamped the sentiment on my phone here, I scribbled some color onto the phone with watercolor pencils.

Thanks for having me today, Simon friends! I always enjoy “seeing” you all! Wishing you a happy STAMPtember!
