Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an obsession for rubber stamps. However, it didn’t take long until we became a One Stop Shop. Our intention is to be your one stop shop in this awesome community! Rubber stamps still remain at the heart of our business, and we are celebrating by releasing exclusive products with many of the industry’s finest brands. Be sure to visit our Blog as the home base for the festivities!

Trust me when I tell you that the activities this year are exceptional, and we have fun surprises to keep you on your toes ALL month long!  We hope you find a product or two from our special exclusive collection releasing today that you LOVE!

  1. SO MUCH EYE CANDY…. Its making my heart go pitter patter!
Obsessed with stamping???? Bahahaa, one might say so… I ‘attribute’ (AKA:BLAME), my friend who took me scrapbook shopping and she bought some cute Hero Arts sets to use in her albums. At the time she had a job and no kids and I on the other hand, had kids and no job. I vowed I would never be “getting into THAT hobby” because I was already scrapbooking and could hardly afford that! However, I ‘DID’ purchase a few small HA’s stamps from the sale bin, for my albums, of course….LOL THAT was in 1999 and the rest is history as they say. Happy STAMPtember everyone!

  2. I started stamping in my pre-teen years (30+ years ago) to make cards/tags to go along with all the crafts that I like to make & give away. Really got into stamping in my scrapbooking years then stopped for awhile until about 6 years ago when I found a YouTube video about making homemade cards & was hooked again.

  3. You’ve started out Stamptember with a BANG! Hard not to spend my whole Stamptember budget on this opening release! Thanks!

  4. Wow I am so blown away with all the new products! Can’t wait to see all the inspirational projects and ideas this month!

  5. It all started when my neighbor invites me to go along with her to a creating keepsakes convention, I went thinking I would get into scrapbooking but got bit by the stamping and cardmaking bug. Here we are 8yrs later and way too many stamps to count and still enjoying every minute I get to create homemade happiness

  6. I knew absolutely nothing about stamping or scrapbooking, until a girlfriend became a D.O.T. consultant. She asked me to host a party for her, which I gladly did. Out of all my friends that were invited, I was the one that got the “stamping bug” BIG time!

That was over 25 years ago. I still have most of my wood mounted stamps from those party days. To say I’m addicted would be an understatement.

Simon Says Stamps is the best!

  7. I started stamping by buying some small Hero Arts stamps to use on the papers of my 1st graders. Needless to say, I was hooked! Now I have a craft room full…?

  8. I was invited to a SU party in 1996. As I walked out the door, I told my husband- Don’t worry- I’m not buying ANYTHING. I DON’T NEED ANOTHER HOBBY! Of course, I fell in love with a certain stamp in a hostess set and within a month had a $300 party and earned my favorite stamp. For years, I just did Christmas–I even make a spreadsheet and mark what kind of card people get so if I make some of the same design the next year, they don’t get the same card twice. (Last year 139 homemade cards…I have loads of cousins!) Now I also make other kinds of cards but I haven’t done scrapbooking- just cards and tags. (I take a bunch of stamping stuff and punches, etc., to Thanksgiving and people make tags on Thanksgiving afternoon if they’re not into football. So much fun! Also one of the leaders of a craft group at our church that makes cards. I love the ornament stamp set and the birthday candle one from this release and am looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

  9. I have always (since pre-teens) loved making things with my hands (a love inherited from my grandmothers and mother). I just kind of fell into papercrafting many many years ago, especially when “paper” craft stores were abundant (I am now 60+ years) and could spend hours browsing the isles of paper and stamps, etc. Miss the hands-on shopping, but thankful for wonderful on-line stores, such as Simon Says Stamps! (P.S. Wonderful release!!)

  10. Yay – I love Stamptember! I am also obsessed with stamping. I first learned about it at a Stampin’ Up party. Then started collecting supplies when I needed to make a birthday party invitation for my son. Now, over 10 years later, I have invested a small fortune in creating my craft room that is stuffed with stamps and supplies!

  11. I’m a long time scrapbooker. Quite a few years ago, one of my coworkers and fellow scrapbooker started talking about how fun stamping and making cards was and gave me a stamp set. Needless to say, I have been hooked ever since. I love making cards because you can be as simple or as elaborate as you want and they usually turn out nice regardless. People I give them to seem to enjoy them.

  12. I got into stamping back around 1999 or so when I was invited to a stampin Up party. The products available now are so much fun and I find new ways to use them all the time!!

  13. I got started stamping about 15 years because i was inspired by Amy R at Prairie, Paper & Ink and Vicky Papaioannou at Clips n Cuts and they just keep inspiring. Kristina Warner also came into the mix when she was at Two peas in a pod. I have amassed quite the collection thanks to just these awesome ladies and so many more. Early on, I also fell in love with Outlines Rubber stamp company and have most of their collection and Magnolia stamps. there are so many awesome stamps out there and my house is bursting at the seams with most of them and thanks to Stamptember and all the other great stamp companies, it doesn’t look like my obsession is ever going to end! ugh…hope i can live off of stamps instead of retirement funds! :-)

  14. I got my start in stamping when I was the craft/activity coordinator for my local MOPS group. It’s been a slippery slope ever since and I love it!

  15. I resisted stamping from a few friends who sold CTMH products for about 6 months 25 some years ago. After 6 months I couldn’t resist any longer! It took off from there to every brand available!

  16. Stamptember is my FAVORITE time of the year!!! This is my second year stamping so my second time shopping stamptember and all of the amazing goodies! I got started last summer when I needed to find a creative outlet and a break from studying… I’m in medical school and sometimes I need a creative outlet for my stresses! I am SO SO happy I found this amazing hobby with all of the supporting people and companies :)

  17. Retired after a long career in business. Wanted to revive my rarely used artistic side and came across Vicki Papaioannou on utube demonstrating Simon Says stamp kit from August 2016. Found many other great card crafters and I Was hooked! Ordered my first monthly card kit and I’m still loving it.

  18. My daughter took me to a scrapbooking night
at a friends house. I found out about
card making and I’ve been doing that for
the past 14 years. I only scrapbook
    my vacations to exotic locations.
thankfully, I’ve been getting to take
    one of those every year.
    Happy Stamptember.

  19. In 2002 I discovered Anna Griffin products on an end cap at Michaels while shopping for DMC floss for cross stitching. I took the stamps and Inks and ribbons home and haven’t stopped stamping since. I love the pleasure of creating a card for someone and the joy it brings to others when they receive one. I’m SO looking forward to Stamptember. Thank you for being such a great company! ❤️

  20. I started scrapbooking and stamping when I wanted to make a wedding album for myself. Before that, I didn’t even know what was stamping ! From that day till now … I’ve not stopped and still loving it

  21. I was watching a Carol Duvall show over 20 years ago and was intrigued with the stamp set she used to make Christmas cards. I went to a local stamp store looking for just that one stamp style — and well, the rest is history.

  22. I just started out cardmaking and SSS was the first shop I bought anything from. Y’all are the friendliest and are very helpful. I love your contests and blog candy (I have won once!). I am looking forward to Stamptember but my bank account is not big enough!!

  23. Such incredible products!!! I was totally unaware about stamping but going through different challenge blogs and the beautiful enteries in them made me fall in love with stamping. One of starting sets of stamp infact I have received from SSS :) and I still love them

  24. When I was growing up, my mom tried almost EVERY craft out there. When I got older, we started going to craft events and I got hooked on watching shows like Aleene Creative Living and the Carol Duvall Show. Watching them (and my mom) create so many amazing things really inspired me. I think I got completely hooked on stamping the first time I saw a demo of heat embossing. It was like MAGIC!! And I’ve been addicted ever since. Stamps are SO versatile and I LOVE being able to use them with so many different mediums. It NEVER gets boring!

  25. I got into stamping quite by accident…..
I was getting ready to have back surgery and wondered into what used to be a used book store in our little town of Ramona. It was no longer a used book store but was now a scrapbook store. I had to ask myself …. “what is this scrapbooking thing ?”. My husband had been urging me to go through the boxes of pics we had (pre-digital camera days) and organize in albums so I thought this would be a great time! But scrapebooking was way more than just that!!! It was there I met my best friend Jamie Doughtry. This was ore Prima Design Team and Tattered Angels!!!! She was (and still is) AMAZING!!!! That nect February the store owner invited us to CHA……!!!!! OH MY! I discovered Tim Holt’s! The rest is history….. I’m not artistic at all and with him you didn’t have to be! There truly was no mistakes!
I swore I’d never do cards… required too much perfection and measuring. Not sure what happened but here I am 16 yrs later and now I NEED a room dedicated to my happiness (or need to have it all..!!) and my precious TREASURES that most don’t understand!! Lol. My room is my happy place, my therapy room both physical and mental and my sanctuary !!! I love love love making cards, stamping and mixed media. During this time I discovered YouTube and Simon says stamp. All of this together saved my life literally after my back surgery but mostly following a divorce after 21 yrs and a bad accident I had while working at the hospital forcing me to give up my one true passion …. nursing. I started nursing school in my 40’s and was working at becoming a nurse practitioner. I was forced into retirement after my dominant wrist and hand were left permanently damaged. This is why I call it my physical therapy and mental/emotional therapy. Thanks to all of you who have given me this wonderful outlet by providing me with inspiration, support and encouraging words ….!!!
This release is amazing. I’m loving it!!

  26. Going to a SU party AGES AGO, I was introduced to stamping…. I got a few things, but waited, as we were raising our kids. After we retired, I was left with, WHAT TO DO NOW???? LOL So, I remembered Stamping & DOVE IN, HEAD FIRST & haven’t come up yet! LOL ;) LOOOOOVE the Stamptember Release!!!! AND THANK YOU HEIDI for bringing us more BEAUTIFUL FLORALS!!!! CAN’T WAIT to get my hands on that one in-particular!!! ;)

  27. My niece was making cards for Operation Write Home and she got me hooked. I now make cards for other military organizations and for children in the hospital. I look forward to Stamptember every year!

  28. When I was in third or fourth grade, my Awana leader was a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, and she threw a Christmas party for our group of girls. The main activities were making cookies and stamping cards, and while most of my friends were in the kitchen eating cookie dough, I stayed out at the craft table, playing with the rubber stamps. My parents ended up giving me a set of stamps for Christmas, and my hobby has been snowballing ever since.

  29. HOLY STAMPTEMBER, BATMAN! What a collection, something for everything and everyone. Thank you, Simon….you’re the best!!

  30. I started stamping with a friends Mom over 20 years ago! I now sell my cards on Etsy! Love love love the friends I have made through this art!

  31. I loved to make and send things. Also, like many, I’m sure, I figured it would save money in the long run! bwwwwwahaaahahaaaa!!! But it is WAY MORE fun to make cards than buy them, right?!! (Fabulous release, SSS!!)

  32. Wow, what a fantastic assortment of products; something for everyone! Oh my goodness, I think it was in 2007 when I started stamping after I had joined the PaperCrafts message forum!

  33. What a fabulous release. I started stamping in 1998. I started with scrapbook pages and have moved over to cards. I love sharing love and joy with my cards.

  34. My memory is failing me a bit, but I think I was introduced to stamping through someone who was selling Stampin’ Up. I went digital for a while and now I’m doing both. I need to build my stamp stash back up. ☺

  35. I was invited to a DOTS party in 1993 and once I saw that embossing powder melt I was hooked! I became a demonstrator for about 6 years. I got away from it for some years, but my sister took me to an annual stamp convention and I was reinfected, worse than before. I love all the new techniques and I’m in love with photopolymer! Thanks, Heidi for all the joy you’ve given me!

  36. Good heavens, what a way to start Stamptember off with a bang! I’ve been saving up my crafty budget for this month and you are killing it! I’m also traveling this month, I always stop at the local scrap/stamp stores in the areas I’m visiting, have found awesome stores in a couple of places and visit them when I pass through each year. I think I’ll have to convince hubby that I’m providing him with my future Christmas and BD gifts (same time) for this year, hopefully he will buy it! Who needs new clothes when one can have new stamps?!!!!!

  37. I started with scrapbooking an album for my dad’s 6th birthday. My next stint started with paper crafting altered items on YouTube about 18 yrs later. When I discovered stamping a couple years after that, a whole new world of avid/obsessive crafting opened up to me. Lol

  38. I got started in stamping a few years ago while memory keeping, making my own journal cards and embellishments. I’ve just started making some cards. Thanks for a chance to win. Michelle t

  39. I attended a card making craft workshop (Stampin’ Up! related) one Saturday morning umpteen years ago and we could go from table to table to create a card, using different techniques. I was “hooked” and never looked back. Lol! I’m a little overwhelmed by all the goodies Laura has shown today, but than again I have all of Stamptember to recover. :) Thanks for being a one-stop-shopping place.

  40. Started out scrapbooking many years ago & got a “cricut” machine- that led me to You Tube and right into stamping & card making.

  41. I love STAMPtember and I love stamping! I think this is your best STAMPtember yet! How did I get started with stamping? A friend asked me to do some stamping with her about 14 years ago – we were making Christmas tags and wrapping paper with stamping. I had a lot of fun! I had no stamps of my own at that time but a few months later I took some card-making workshops and I found out where the nearest stamp store was – I was hooked!

  42. I started stamping years ago when I was invited to a stampin Up party, but then I got into scrapbooking and started using my stamps there. I recently started back making cards when I saw a YouTube video of AmyR from prairiepaperandink. Loving all the new releases!

  43. This is my first time following Stamptember and HOLY MOLY I’m already blown away by all this crafty goodness. I’ve been scrapbooking since 2004 but only started cardmaking last year. Looking forward to following along with you each day! :D

  44. I started stamping just a few years ago. I been scrapping for over 25 years but a few years ago I was hit head on by a drunk driver and It left me disabled. I have had multiple surgeries on my knees , hips, shoulders and back. I live in 24/7 pain. I am also raising my 3 grandchildren . For that reason I don’t want to live on the pain medicine they have me on. I decided to try the stamping along with my scrapbooking to keep my mind occupied and off my pain so I do NOT have to take the pain medicine . This way I can raise my 3 grandchildren and still be coherent. lol Sure there are days it is very hard but Stamping and crafting has really been a lifesaver to me. Only if I could learn to color better or afford to take some online coloring classes I would be sooo happy! LOL
