STAMPtember defined:

STAMPtember® (stmp-tmbr) is defined by Simon Says Stamp… an event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate our community of stampers.

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an obsession for rubber stamps. However, it didn’t take long until we became a One Stop Shop. Now Simon Says Stamp and STAMPtember® is so much more than stamps! This year you’ll also see a focus on many other exciting products like dies, notecards, and some very special surprises. Our intention is to be your one stop shop in this awesome community! Rubber stamps still remain at the heart of our business, and we are celebrating by releasing exclusive products with many of the industry’s finest brands. Be sure to visit our Blog as the home base for the festivities!

Trust me when I tell you that the activities this year are exceptional, and we have fun surprises to keep you on your toes ALL month long!  We hope you find a product or two from our special exclusive collection releasing today that you LOVE!

  1. So excited to see what’s in store this year…lots to love already!! I started stamping about 15 years ago. My scrapbooking took me to my local scrapbook store where I saw all that stamping had to offer, took some classes, and I was hooked!

  2. So excited for STAMPtember!! I’ve been stamping for 20 years now. I can’t believe it’s been that long. My style has changed, much like the industry, and I love it so much!!

  3. I started stamping when I thought I can make prettier tags for my Christmas gifts, back when we dry embossed with a stencil and stylus. Ha! I do remember your early years.

  4. I started stamping over 15 years ago. I picked up a few stamp sets at a garage sale because I loved their images, then thought now what do I do with these! Loving your new products, so excited for STAMPtember!

  5. Great new products! The first time I used a stamp and made a card was when I was 15 years old. My youth pastor’s wife brought some stamps to a youth activity and I made my first card. That was 22 years ago and she and I still to this day both make cards and even go away on a crafty getaway every year.

  6. Yay!!! This is my first Stamptember I’m so excited!!! I first started stamping about a year ago, I remember telling my husband that I could save money if I made my own cards!! ??? Little did he know and thousands of dollars later here I am obsessed with stamping! It wasn’t until a very special crafty friend pushed me to share my first card ever! And then I was hooked!! Thank you for all the fun and new products I am ready to shop!

  7. I started crafting when I was 21 and my Mom taught me to cross stitch. And then we wen to a craft show and I saw scrapbooking! We kept going to shows and I would see more & more handmade cards so I thought I’d give it a try. And from there, I was hooked. My mom recently passed away and in going through her things, I found EVERY SINGLE card I had ever made for her! It was funny to see how card making has evolved.

  8. Wow, Stamptember is awesome. I started stamping probably 30 years ago. I got a stamp from the only crafting place in my area – Capital Crafts. It’s a teddy bear stamp and I still have it. I have given away a number of my stamps that I don’t use so someone else can enjoy but I kept that one. I look forward to seeing what all is coming.

  9. I started stamping when Creative Memories was popular. I had just traveled to Europe and wanted to do a scrapbook. From there, I just carried over my supplies into card making. Have always found crafting to be so very good for me and a way to connect with others. I love this release. Thanks SSS.

  10. I’m super excited for STAMPtember…It’s my first one! (I got in on the tail end last year, but wasn’t sure what all the hype was about until too late to get in on the fun.) I got started stamping through Bible journaling. From there, I learned about card making and now I’m hooked!

  11. I started about 15 Year’s ago. My craft store was big into scrapbooking and had such beautiful paper and awesome stamps. I don’t love scrapbooking so I started making cards. I am obsessed!

  12. My Mom got me into stamping!! Aren’t Mom’s great?! She showed my direct to paper stamping and I was not too impressed. Then she showed me the heat embossing and I was hooked instantly! Love my Mom!

  13. What a fabulous line-up of products! WOW! Excited to see the magic unfold! I started card-making about 5 1/2 years ago, so I could start sending ‘real’ mail to my niece who was 2 at the time. She’s now 8; my nephew (her brother), 6…and the ‘snail mail’ continues with nearly once a month ‘somethings’ sent their way. I also make umpteen tags/cards for them to give to their classmates, teachers and friends for ‘special’ occasions/holidays. The best part: both my niece and nephew love to make cards with me! They can run my Big Shot like pros! My niece, especially, has an eye for design! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!

  14. Wow! What an amazing set of products! Awaiting all the inspirations! :) I started stamping around 4 years back when I saw some cards done using it and I was curious as to know how someone achieved super beautiful designs! My curiosity led me to explore the crafting world, which until then was just color papers and sketch pens :) I love stamping and now waiting for my inks collection to reach me, as we recently shifted to the US :) The wait is hard!!

  15. Yay for Stamptember! Loving the release, something for everyone! My wish list includes the fun Festive Trees, Ornate Ornaments and Birthday Borders! I started stamping over 25 years ago by making my own Christmas wrapping paper with brown parcel paper, children’s Christmas stamps and raffia! I’ve come a long way since then!

  16. I started to get interested in stamping back in the day when Carol Duvall introduced me to stamps from Hot Potatoes and Commotion. Never had time to do much stamping back then but in last few years I’ve started stamping more as a way to get back into crafting following an accident. It’s been great therapy plus lots of fun and my family and friends love it when they get a handmade card.

  17. I love this month. Not only is it my birthday month, but it’s Stamtember. Yay! I’ve been stamping for as long as I can remember. That’s at least over three decades. My first stamping experience was in grade school, when I would help my teacher stamp various things on student work. Not only have I amassed a collection of stamps, but I also became teacher. Love both of those worlds.

  18. Friend I’ve know since elementary school has made cards for as long as I can remember. Four years ago I accompanied her to a local crafty show and have been hooked ever since. So now she isn’t one of my best friends she is one of my best crafty friends and has introduced me to new crafty friends!

  19. Yay! Stamptember is finally here! I’m not sure how I even got started stamping, because it seems like I’ve been doing it all my life! I remember my very first stamps were red rubber mounted on big blocks of wood in very simple designs, and now I’m making beautiful layered designs with multiple layers! The stamping community is a wonderful group to be a part of too!

  20. I was introduced to stamping when I was only doing scrapbooking. When I finished my children’s scrapbooks, I had all kinds of papers & embellishments & my Cricut die cutting machine & I told myself “I could use all this leftover stuff to make cards”! Needless to say..cardmaking with stamps & dies & markers took over my life!!

  21. Oh, YAY! My favorite time of the year! I started stamping years ago with wood block stamps to accent my wood craft projects. But now, I craft cards almost exclusively. Simon Says Stamps has been a favorite stamp supplier for some time; the quality and service are exceptional. Looking forward to a month of fun!

  22. What a release! Yummy confetti, gorgeous background dies, versatile stencils and fun and festive stamps. Love, love, love them all!

  23. Yaaay for celebrations!! I started stamping a few years ago with handmade gift tags. I had run out of the generic stickers so I browsed pinterest for ideas, and now I love personalizing with stamps

  24. so excited!!!!!!
    Love Stamptember!!
I got started into stamping when I got so frustrated with the lack of fun birthday cards I needed, in the shops. The ones I did find, were very basic and uninspiring – so I thought I will make my own !!
    Thanks for the chance:)

  25. Been stamping for more than a few years if you count using stencils on walls and wood. Haha. Love stamping and card making for sure. Love those big birthday numbers and Suzy’s watercolors are always fun and lovely to color. Great start to Stamptember!

  26. How fun!! I stumbled into stamping while shopping for a gift! I bought some stamping goodies for a niece and I was intrigued to try it myself, that was over 20 years ago.

  27. I started by watching hand lettering videos on YouTube, and I came across Kristina Werner’s videos. After about the 100th video of her cards, I never looked back. Kristina led to Jennifer, who led to so many more wonderful artists.

  28. So excited for Stamptember!!! I began stamping when my friend showed me how to heat emboss a stamp. I was so amazed and wanted to know everything about stamping:)

  29. I love StampTember with Simon Says Stamp and can’t wait to see all the goodies all month long. I started stamping about 20 years ago, when I was battling Cancer and my girlfriend came over with her embossing powder, ink, and heat gun and showed me how fun it was to make cards. She made my recovery fun and I was hooked as a card maker ever since.

  30. I always look forward to stamptember and wow, you’re rocking it already, and it’s only day 1 haha! So many fab new products, roll on all the collaboration stamp sets now! I wanted to make a wedding card for a friend back in 2011, and was looking for some inspiration online… I stumbled across Kristina Werner’s YouTube channel, and…. got totally hooked! I fell in love with the idea of stamping, heat embossing (still magical!) and all the rest of the card making world, and… a few thousand $$$$ later, here I am LOL… still obsessed, and still in love!

  31. Great Stamptember release! I started stamping in 1997 with SU! Someone brought a catalog to a tee ball game I was at and that was the beginning of my love of stamping.

  32. What a fabulous Release already rushed to the site and made a purchase. Would love to get my hands on more Great Job!!

  33. A book by Claudine Hellmuth called Collage Discovery Workshop tickled my interest in stamping along with a magazine called Somerset Studio. Then I stumbled upon the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas blog posts and I was hooked!!

  34. Awesome release! Can’t wait to see what the rest of stamptember holds!
I got into stamping after taking one of the amazing Julie Ebersole’s classes at Impress store, quite a few years ago. I was hooked immediately!

  35. I started stamping 7 years ago and have been obsessed with card making since then! Simon Says Stamp is my go to for most of my stamping “needs”. I look forward to Stamptember each year… such an exciting time for us stampers!!!!!! Thank you!

  36. AWESOME new release!! I used to stamp as a little girl with a small set and just watched how the stamps just got better and better over the years!!!

  37. Stamptember is THE best month of the year! I love your new release. I started stamping years and years ago (as a teen) when I was given my first stamp, an “ex libris” stamp, to identify my books. But I didn’t get hooked until about 15 years ago when I discovered the online stamping communities with all the amazingly creative instructors.

  38. Love the release I just bought the new beautiful flowers 2 . It’s gorgeous! I started my stamping journey about 3 years ago after I lost my mom. I was lost without my best friend and needed an outlet. I stumbled upon cardmaking in YouTube. I’m sure it was Jennifer McGuire that got me started lol :)

  39. LOVE all the new goodies!!! My daughter got me started stamping after she went to a stamp party. I looked through the catalog and couldnt resist placing an order for myself and the rest is history:)

  40. I had a few stamps in a shoebox until I accidentally came across a Jennifer McGuire video on YouTube. I caught the bug and ditched the shoebox!!

  41. How I got started stamping…it came when I realized there was more to card making than punches, stickers and ribbon. It was that something more needed as a next step when crafting that has grown by leaps and bounds for me. Can’t imagine making a card without stamping, even if only the sentiment. SSS has been a great part of that. tfs

  42. This is my first STAMP-TEMBER! I’m very excited to be inspired! I started stamping in high school! I worked at a craft store and my collection has grown ever since! I love both card making and scrapbooking!

  43. Fabulous new release for Stamptember! I got started stamping when a friend brought me to a Close to My Heart party hosted by her friend. I bought tons of stuff that night and have not stopped since :)

  44. My Mom was a great card sender and passed that on to me. When a local art store had a representative from Hero Arts, I bought a simple butterfly stamp and got “hooked” so to speak to start creating my own. I’ve come a long way and my inventory has certainly expanded since the early 90’s
