STAMPtember defined:

STAMPtember® (stmp-tmbr) is defined by Simon Says Stamp… an event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate our community of stampers.

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an obsession for rubber stamps. However, it didn’t take long until we became a One Stop Shop. Now Simon Says Stamp and STAMPtember® is so much more than stamps! This year you’ll also see a focus on many other exciting products like dies, notecards, and some very special surprises. Our intention is to be your one stop shop in this awesome community! Rubber stamps still remain at the heart of our business, and we are celebrating by releasing exclusive products with many of the industry’s finest brands. Be sure to visit our Blog as the home base for the festivities!

Trust me when I tell you that the activities this year are exceptional, and we have fun surprises to keep you on your toes ALL month long!  We hope you find a product or two from our special exclusive collection releasing today that you LOVE!

  3. Worth the wait! everything looks amazing!!!
Can’t wait to see what all is instore for the month of stamptember. Game on :)

  4. Started 4 years ago by taking online card classes (by Kristina and Jennifer) and have been learning ever since. I love stamptember!!!

  5. I’m SO excited for this month!! I literally just placed an order so I can get these awesome items before they sell out! I started stamping around the same time I got into planning… and the rest is history! Hahah

  6. Woot, woot!! Love your new releases! I got stamping a long time ago from seeing cards made by my neighbor, then I was hooked! !!

  7. Finally Stamptember, I already ordered mine and can’t wait to get it. Love these and not just some but all are Awesome.

  8. Wow!! Some really really fun stuff in this Stamptember release! And I loved Laura’s video too!! I got started stamping about 18 years ago, with a friend. We were looking for a new hobby. And I haven’t really stopped!!

  9. This is my first year of really participating in Stamptember, and I’m really excited! I wanted a way to send love to my nieces while they were out of the country, and while I’ve always been an avid letter-writer, I realized that wouldn’t do much for a 3-year-old and 18-month-old. So I decided to make cards. (“It can’t be that hard,” she thought naively.) I didn’t start stamping right away, but as I continued, I realized that stamps would make my life so much easier. I won a few giveaways, and around Thanksgiving/Christmas of last year I started stamping!

  10. Yay another Stamptember!! So excited!! I started stamping almost 20yrs ago with an old boyfriend’s mom who showed me heat embossing for the first time. I was hooked! I have been stamping and crafting ever since :)

  11. Like many others, my introduction to papercrafting was through a Stampin Up party. That was 14 years ago. Crazy how long ago that was and how much my passion for it hasn’t changed. It’s addicting!

  12. A neighbor invited me to a Stampin Up party 20+ years ago…the rest, well, is history! So much has changed in this industry since then and continues to which makes stamping fun, exciting and new. It’s still my passion and I can’t get enough of it which is great for my soul, but not so great for my wallet :)!

  13. I got started stamping about 18 or 19 years ago while working at a local scrapbook store. Almost everything was stamped in pigment ink and heat embossed! The stamping world has come a long way since then. ?

  14. I started in 2011, after finding myself off work when I was injured in a car accident. I’d had friends who went to Stampin’ Up! parties, and though I loved the projects they made, I never bothered to go because I thought it was ridiculously expensive. Later, when I could no longer work or do the things I used to love to do, I had to find something new to keep me busy and that I could work on for short periods of time as my pain limit would allow. I found some 2nd hand stamping supplies on a local buy/sell site, and the rest is history! I’m now totally addicted to stamping and can’t wait to see what fun products this year’s Stamptember has to offer!

  15. I’ve been stamping since I was a kid but didn’t get serious about stamps until a few years ago when ATCs were all the rage :) Since then I started making art tags and cards and my stamp collection just keeps growing!!

  16. I am so excited about Stamptember, it is almost crazy! I got a cricut for Christmas a couple of years ago, and starting having fun with it and thought “I will never get into stamps”. But, then I found a really cute Lawn Fawn set, and tried it out. Now I am hooked! I can’t get enough stamps and have so much fun trying them out and making cards.
Thank you in advance! I am sure Stamptember is going to be awesome!

  17. Stamping, especially to make cards, brings me a lot of joy. I gather with friends every other month or so on a Saturday morning to make cards and it just so happens we’ll be celebrating the roll out of Stamp-tember tomorrow by stamping away. Looking forward to everything you have in store for us.

  18. Wow, so many fabulous new goodies! Can’t wait to see the collaboration sets, too!
I’ve been stamping since I was 12 when my mom went to a stamping party and brought home some new stamps and ink. I’d never been so inspired to create and the more I played with stamps, the more my passion grew. I’ve now been stamping for 22 years and have been teaching card making classes for the last 10. I love that the process of stamping is so rewarding and fulfilling, but so is sharing that passion with others! ❤️

  19. Wow, look at all of those amazing products – what a huge release! About 25 years ago I was in the craft store and noticed that there was a full aisle (both sides) of stamping supplies. I thought there HAS to be something about this given the real estate devoted to it. I picked up a few things and played around, but didn’t “get it” until I went to a Stampin’ Up party. Given my stash, I think I finally “got it”.

  20. I’m so excited I participated for the first time last year in stamptember and it was so much fun. I started stamping last year in August thanks to cathy zlisky ( hope i spelled it right) cards and video tutorials and fell in love with card makinh.

  21. Yay!! It’s STAMPTEMBER!!! I started stamping when I had my son 25 years ago. WOW!! Just realized how old that makes me feel!! LOL!! Can’t wait to see what 2018 STAMPTEMBER has in store for us!!!

  22. I used some of my first stamps when I began teaching 35 years ago. Then came scrapbooking and now I am an avid card maker. I really enjoy seeing all the creative ideas on how to use the new products. Can’t wait for some inspiration!

  23. Hooray for Stamptember! So fun! I am fairly new to stamping I had a friend invite me to a class a few years ago. Since then I have dabbled a little here and there. More recently I stumbled onto your blog and a few others that share tips and ideas and have loved learning how to stamp and new ideas and techniques. Excited to see what Stamptember brings and the beautiful creations shared!

  24. This is exciting! My sister had a rubber stamp party in the early 80s. I came away with stamps and markers. I’ve been spending ever since!

  25. I started in 2016 after stumbling upon cardmaking YouTube videos. It looked really interesting and I was inspired to try and make cards of my own. Needless to say, I never thought one stamp purchase will lead to many many more.

  26. I love Stamptember!!! Iam a stamping fanatic and everyday crafter. It keeps me sane in the insanity of life. I started 4 yrs ago (I think…) when my son was less than a year old with the intention to scrapbook, but then I fell in love with Lawn Fawn and started to make cards. Nothing could stop me from creating since then :D I discovered SSS I guess 3 yrs ago, since then it is my One Stop Shop! <3

  27. Congratulations on a fantastic start to STAMPtember … what a simply splendid array of goodies! I started stamping about five years ago after happening across an online electronic die cutting event. Wasn’t too taken with the electronic bit, though was taken with the stamps, ink and paper that I found through links to links to links … my happy place! Excited to see what you have in store for us all month … thanks so much for all the hard work putting STAMPtember together! Anita :)

  28. I started stamping because I can’t draw. A friend in undergrad knew I loved lions and so did she. After college she invited me to her house and showed me her lion rubber stamps. The rest is history!(That was around 1973!)

  29. I got started with scrapbook and Stampin’ Up. I thine figured out that this great place existed and I have not stopped, much to the dismay of my husband. Thanks for caring so many great companies and doing a great job on card kits. They are awesome.

  30. I started stamping as a teenager when I bought a rubber stamp and a little pouch of embossing powder at a craft show! My niece would call embossing powder magic sand when we would craft together. Love stamping and I love Stamptember!

  31. As a kid I was always drawing and later turned to calligraphy. 11 years ago a friend invited me to a stamping party and I was in, hook, line and sinker! Soooo glad I discovered SSS 2 years ago and a whole new world of stamps and products was opened up tp me! I’ve been looking forward to Stamptember all summer and love the new products you’ve released! Excited to see what the remainder of the month yields!

  32. I am soo excited for all the fun stored in for thus entire month. This is going to be my 3rd stamptember!! I started 3 years ago, when i was looking for ideas on how to make my own baby shower invitations and i fell in love with stamping!!!!

  33. Wow. Love the new release. Beautiful stamps, amazing dies. Love the confetti. Oh and the great background stamps and and…. Wow once again great and amazing beautiful products.

  34. When we were living in Saudi Abaria (1998-2002), my neighbor across the street was a quilter and a stamper. She got me started on both although you couldn’t buy stamping supplies from the craft store there (the weigh5 of wood mounted rubber and good cardstock made the cost to import them too expensive) so I used to buy onlin3 and have them mailed to me. I have stories about how embossing powders resulted in security searches for hazmat…

I didn’t really become an addict tho u til returning to the US and met a local woman who was a stamper and was also an enabler. Now I am full-blown onsessed!!!

  35. Very excited about this month and great products in the release. I got started stamping in 2003 when preparing for parent’s 50th anniversary….I wandered into a scrapbooking store and was taken in by the rubber!!!

  36. I was clueless about stamping until I started blogging in 2010. I inked my first Crafters Companion stamp set in 2011. The only thing I had a problem with was my shaky hands. The MISTI tool took care of that in 2015 & since then, I enjoy stamping. Looking forward to a fun month here at SSS. Love some of the stamp sets, stencils & dies revealed…now can’t wait for the inspiration.

  37. I always come for the Tim release and stay for more. I got started stamping after I had cancer and had to find more sedentary things to do. Has kept me busy ever since. thanks as always for sharing.

  38. Wow! Such beautiful collection of stamps. I got started stamping 5 years ago, I saw lots of videos about making cards and I was so excited to use stamps and make my own cards.

  39. Yay Stamptember! My first exposure to stamping was at a women’s function at church. I cross-stitched, but the nearly instant gratification of stamping got me hooked!

  40. Happy Stamptember everybody! I love the new release and I have seen a lot of things that I have added to my wish list. Thank you so much Laura for showing all the gorgeous supplies it is always nicer to see them in a hand than just flat on screen. Have a nice weekend.

  41. This is my first Stamptember! Super excited! I started stamping in middle school when my sister and I attended some demos at a local scrapbooking store. I just returned to it three years ago when I started pocket scrapbooking my family of four. Stamping is my favorite! Thank you for the opportunity to win!
