This is Autumn’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous projects over the past month. It has been a pleasure having you along with us and we would like to wish you the very best of luck for 2017!
Autumn created a pug themed Valentine tag using the Carabelle Studio To Be or Not to Be Stamp Set, layering with the Tim Holtz Labels Thinlets and a fabric flower from the Tattered Florals Die.
Andrea made some fish-themed tags using W Plus 9’s Fish More stamp set and tag dies (Reverse Confetti’s Thanks Tag and Mama Elephant’s Bowtiful Tag).
Anna-Karin made a double layout this week, in memory of a very sweet dog. She used Hero Arts Rings Bold Prints stamp for the background, before painting with watercolors. There are also a bunch of Simon Says Stamp die cuts, such as from the Missing You set.
Barbara could not resist the charm of this beautiful cat from HIPSTER set by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous and created a card for a friend! Stone and Splatters are two stencils she used for her background and a rainbow of Distress inks pads to color this work!
Cathie created a layout featuring her family’s dog, Nilla. To create the background for the layout she used the Simon Says Stamp Ring Cluster stencil and Ranger Crazing Collage Medium along with Distress Sprays and Crayons.
Emma doesn’t have any pets of her own but has adopted this adorable crazy dog for this challenge. She coloured him with Distress Marker Pens before putting him in pride of place on a background created using Sunset Beach and Golden Sands Infusions from PaperArtsy.
Kath made a birthday treat bag for a friend’s dog using Tim Holtz Dapper Stash Pad,Stampers Anonymous Crazy Dogs,Ring Frame Die and added a sentiment from the Coffee & Tea stamp set that came with the February Card Kit
Lols used an Indigo Blu Duke’s Gang Cling Stamp Set and Tim Holtz Crazy Things Stamp and Die Set to make a fun birthday card for her animal loving friend.
Macarena made a thankful card for a vet using Crazy Dogs stamps and dies and sitting the dog on a mess of Tattered Leaves and made this soft background with Simon Says Stamp Grid Background stamp and White Embossing Powder.
Maura made a birthday card for her hubby using Tim Holtz’s Crazy Dogs and Evolution stamps.
Meihsia loves to have a dog, and she created a mixed media tag with this cute Crazy Dog stamp and used Tim Holtz Layering Stencils.
Sandra doesn’t have pets of her own because she isn’t home that much to spend the time needed with them. But she would love to have this Crazy Dog if she could. This interesting dark background is made with Grit-Paste, Infusions and Opal Magic Blue-Gold Paint.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
