This week we are welcoming Cate Dixson into the Designer Spotlight. Cate was a junior guest designer for the Summer Vacation Challenge and we thought it would be nice to invite a young designer into the December Spotlight! Cate is 15 years old and super talented. Please pop by and give her a warm welcome, Cate is being hosted on the lovely Jenn Shurkus’s Blog
Cate made a super cute gift bag and tucked a small Christmas sweater decorated with glitter into the bag, as well as heart shaped tissue paper. She also used the Simon Says Stamp Stacked Hearts die and the Ugly Sweater stamp set.
Andrea made a notebook to give as a gift that uses Simon’s Hand Lettered Encouragement stamp set, circles from Simon’s I Love Donuts stamp set, and background trees from Simon’s One With Nature stamp set.
Anna-Karin made a canvas this week, and is planning to give it away as a Christmas gift. It features winter plants just before the first snowfall, die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Cottage Stems and Delicate Thistle dies. She also used the You Matter background stamp.
Barbara has created a trio of packages with different collections of Simon’s releases: SNOWFLAKE BLOCK, CORBEL ORNAMENT COLLAGE, STARS PARADE, CIRCLE SAYINGS HOLIDAY, ABSTRACT TRIANGLES.
Cathie created a gift card holder using Simon Says Stamp’s Snowflakes for the Season and the Holiday Background stamp.
Cheiron made a fun card to hold a gift of cash…for a little girl who still believes in Santa (and unicorns!)
Emma used the beautiful So Very Merry Stamp Set to create a trio of Christmas gifts including a gift card holder, floral arrangement tag and candy jar full of sweet surprises!
Kath found some bargain kraft gift bags and brown parcel wrapping paper in her local pound (dollar) store and decorated them to match this year’s Christmas card design using Simon Says Stamp Winter Flowers Stamps and Dies and the Believe Sentiment Stamps from the recent Believe In The Season release
Macarena made 3 little boxes for tealights using Simon Says Stamp products: Stacked Stars Die, Extra Large Dots Stencil, Authentic Vintage Paper, Wool White Felt, Clear Embossing Powder and Premium Dye Ink Pads.
Maura made a holiday notepad and wrapped it in handmade tissue paper along with a gift tag, using Simon Says Stamp’s Candy Swirl stencil and Doll Pink and Teeny Bikini inks.
Meihsia created a Christmas tag for the Christmas gift using Simon Says Clear Stamp Big Peace and Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake Craft Die.
Sandra made a Christmas giftcard holder using Simon Says Stamp Wishing die, Fog and White Pigment Ink.
Zoey used Simon Says Clear Stamp Magical Christmas and Simon Says Stamp Premium Dye High Dive to decorate this little pillow box
