Summer Fun

What is your favorite summer activity? Building sandcastles on the beach, swimming in the ocean waves, enjoying a barbecue with friends, cycling along the forest paths, we will be looking forward to seeing what you make for this challenge!

 Chris used a Tim Holtz Bird Crazy Stamp And Die Set to make some summer fun activity sticks. 

Andrea loves to read on road trips and summer vacations, so she made a Reading Journal using Pinkfresh’s Bibliophile Stamp Set, Seth Apter’s Ring Around die and her trusty Crop-A-Dile.

Anna-Karin was dreaming of tropical beaches and made a colourful tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Tropical Thinlits set, Ranger’s Texture Paste and sequins by 28 Lilac Lane.

Barbara loves to have fun with color! She created  her  own palette of  Distress ink using CUSTOM BLEND Distress DIY Ink Pad Ranger  and Distress reinker. The seahorse and  the starfish are both sparkling with various embossing powder!

Cathie created a beach house using the Tim Holtz Village Dwelling and Surf Shack die sets to replicate a special place where she spends her summer vacations.

Cheiron made a mixed media card with some bathing beauties from Found Relatives Occasions and a background created with Crosshatch Frameworks.

Emma used the Village Dwelling Die and the Surf Shack die to take you on a summer road trip for good times at 63 Coastal Drive!

Kath spent a fun Summer at Summer of Creative Chemistry in the company of Tim Holtz and created a binder file to store all her homework tags from Creative Chemistry 103 using Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Wildflowers and Halftone and Rings stamp sets and decorated with lots of Idea-ology

Lols made an itinerary folder for her upcoming summer vacation trip to India using a Tim Holtz Globe Die and a Mixed Media 2 Stamp Set

Macarena went into a mix of crazy summer colors playing with Wild Honey and Cherry Pie sprays using Scribbles and Splat and Mixed Media dies.

Maura was thinking of summer fairs and traveling circuses when she made her tag with Tim Holtz’s Fly Fly Balloon Man stamp and bright alcohol inks like Ranger’s Spring Break set, using some new ideas she learned in Creative Chemistry 103 with Tim Holtz.

Meihsia really enjoyed her summer and created this tag with Nautical Blue Print Stamp, and colored the background using Sakura Koi Watercolors.

Sandra was inspired by summer nature for this one, and used the Simon Says Stamp Leaves Stencil and Butterfly Frenzy to make a card

Zoey made this art journal page using various distress paint, distress spray stain and distress crayons.
