Simon Says: Treat Bag/Box
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Explore The World Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
Treat Bag/Box
With Halloween and Christmas fast approaching most of us need to make a few gift/treat bags or boxes! You could also choose to make a project featuring some sort of container. We will be looking forward to seeing what you decide to create!
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details of how we made these creations and leave these wonderful girls some comment love
Nikki made two gift bags using a We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board. For the first bag Nikki ingeniously created a tree using a Tim Holtz Doily Die and for the second bag she used a Tree Blueprints Stamp and Die Set
Andrea made a vellum treat bag with a writing theme. She typed the sentiment on the front of the bag itself with a We R Memory Keepers typewriter and stamped the inside card with a favorite image from Kaisercraft’s My Year My Story stamp set.
Anna-Karin made two inky Halloween gift boxes for her sons. They were easy to make with the Sizzix Square Favor Box by Lori Whitlock, and The Birds stamp and die set by Hero Arts.
Barbara was inspired by traditional Halloween colors: Black and Orange. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix MIXED MEDIA HALLOWEEN Thinlits Die, Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 23 mixed with Grit paste and a lot of Idea-ology stuff to create various kind of Halloween packaging!
Cathie created a treat bag using the Tim Holtz Zombie thinlits die set and gave her zombie personality using several elements with Idea-ology Halloween metal pieces.
Cheiron thinks there is no better box of treats to receive in the mail than one filled with crafty goodies! She created this card with the Neat and Tangled Box die and Crafting is my Jam stamp set.
Will Emma‘s Halloween favour box that was created using Tim Holtz’s Coffin die and then nestled on a bed of Fall Foliage…be full of tricks, or treats?
Kath altered an old bag to hold some spooky Halloween treats using Tim Holtz Materialize Stash Pad an Idea-ology Broomstick and a Pumpkin Piece
Lols made a couple of Christmas gift bags using a Lawn Fawn Goody Bag Die and a Mini Dog and Cat Stamp Set
Macarena altered an old paper bag using Layered Dragonfly Die
Maura made a Mr. Pumpkin Cat treat jar with Tim Holtz’s Mini Mason Jars and Photo Clip Kit, and added on some rusty goodness with Prima Flowers Rust Pastes.
Meihsia decorated a treat box for this Halloween with Tim Holtz Metal Word Key and Ranger Distress Crayons.
Sandra altered an old paper bag into a trick or treat bag using the Hocus Pocus die and Materialize Paper Pack
Zoey used Sizzix’s dies to create this box that will contain a collection of ATCs
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
