It’s Carrie’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Carrie created three adorable tags! She stated by embossing each tag with embossing folders by Sizzix and Tim Holtz Alterations. Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Oxides were blended on and highlighted with white ink. Ranger Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks were used to create the fun paper that was then cut by Tim Holz dies along with the adorable Simon Says Stamp Boop die creating each tag’s unique look and feel. We think she nailed it!

Andrea made a tag with funky edges thanks to AALL & Create’s Intricatags Die Set. She used Studio Light’s Postage Madness patterned paper and created patterns of her own with stencils: Dina Wakley’s Dotted Tape and Creative Expression’s Starburst.

Anna-Karin made a tag with a textured crackle background and a watercolored flower. The flower was stamped with Tim Holtz Embroidery set and die cut with the Simon Says Stamp coordinating Embroidery dies. The sentiment was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Create stamp set and die cut with the Create die set.

Barbara created a tag using a lot of Tim Holtz Idea-ology products: Halloween Transparencies, Halloween Ephemera Pack, Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls. She used Ranger Texture Paste Opaque, Ranger Texture Paste Crypt, Mica Flakes and various Embossing Glaze to create texture.

Kath created a fun spooky Halloween tag shaped card using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moon Layering Masks, Distress Oxide inks and the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween Whatnots. She used Simon Says Stamp Windswept Leaves, Fruitful Berries and Stack O’ Pumpkins dies, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Wicked Thinlits and Idea-ology Mummy Cloth to decorate the tag.

Macarena encourages you to write your own story with her Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tag die and the background made with Paper Artsy Seth Apter Printed Tissue PT06. She made the composition with Simon Says Stamp Mushroom Stems die and Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathered Friends die.

Maura let her imagination loose with this tag! She used Dina Wakley’s Mixed Media Tag, stencils like Simon Says Stamp In the Round stencil, Daniel Smith Watercolors, including Permanent Orange, and Phthalo Turquoise, and added a fun Tim Holtz Optic Frame embellishment.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Spooky Sweets on the background, colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology CLiPPiNGS Sticker Book.

Zoey used Distress Oxide Spray Ink and Distress Spray Stain to make her background. She also used Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Crossed with Ranger Texture paste to add a bit of interest to the background.
As embellishments she used Tim Holtz Sizzix mini detailed butterflies Thinlits Die and some Ideaology stickers.
