This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Alison Bomber into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Alison’s been thinking pink coneflowers, and plenty of them!  Combining her own PaperArtsy EAB49 Coneflowers Edition stamps (flowers and words) with the lovely daisy from Tim Holtz’s French Garden set, she created a garden in a frame for the fabulous Idea-ology Photobooth woman in the centre.  The flowers are tinted with a combination of PaperArtsy Mattints and Dylusions sprays, used as watercolours.

She altered the simple wooden frame with Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic in Snowflake and Ranger Opaque Distress Crackle Paste, grunged up with Pumice Stone Distress Spray Stain and Distress Crayon.  The Tree Rings in the backgrounds sadly seem to have been discontinued, but there are plenty of other fabulous wood-look Sizzix 3D Texture Fades to choose from.  Lots of Idea-ology Snippets Curator labels add a final vintage touch.

Andrea made a bright scribbly tag using Dylusions Intense Colour Caykes and Sticks. The fairy image is from Kate Crane’s KC016 stamp set and the image in the background is from Tim Holtz’s Deconstructed stamp set.

Anna-Karin made a pink art journal page in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal. She also use Dylusions Stardust Stickles and White Linen Dyamond Dust. The flower stamps are from Simon Says Stamp Happy Day.

Barbara created a tag using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Winston Colorize Thinlits Dies and the Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Christmas Things Thinlits Die. For the background, she chose the Dylusions Ranger Small Crazy Paving stencil. She added sparkle with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Rock Candy Chunky Special Edition, and to keep with today’s theme, she chose Ranger Distress Mini Oxide Picked Raspberry .

Cheiron created a floral card featuring the from Concord & 9th Primrose Garden Stamps & Dies. She shaded her florals using Dylusions Mini Archival Ink Pads. She added her florals using foam tape to a base that was debossed with the Primrose Garden dies and then added Creamsicle enamel dots and a simple Happy Birthday sentiment.

Emma created a tag with a message, “Hope Is Never Lost’. For her background she used Dylusions Archival Inks through the Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz Roses Layering Stencil before adding the paper doll nestling in the metallic wreath, made using the Funky Wreath and Garden Greens die sets by Sizzix and Tim Holtz.

Kath created a page in her Dylusions Large Art Journal in support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint/Distress Spray Stain, Dylusions Small Write Now Stencil, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper, Stampers Anonymous Faded Type and Sizzix Bold Text 2 Thinlits.

Macarena loves circles and pink so she combined Simon Says Stamp Circle Quilt die with Ranger Dylusions Mini Archival Ink Pads in Peony Blush and Bubblegum Pink. She also fussy cut the leaves from Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Cling Stamp kcm013.

Maura headed to her Dylusions 8×8 Art Journal , a favorite, to create a pink themed page using Dylusions Leaf It Out stencil, Simon Says Stamp’s Friendship Text Background stamp, and a Simon Says Stamp Mini Envelope that she tucked in a note in memory.

Meihsia was inspired to create a pink tag using Riley and Company Crafters Against Cancer Clear Stamp and Die Set on the background, and colored it with Ranger Dylusions Rose Quartz Shimmer Spray and Ranger Dylusions Dyamond Fluffier Brush 2 Pack.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
