This week we’re welcoming the lovely Debbie Emmons aka designingdiva_73  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Debbie loves to stargaze and she created this card using a Simon Says Stamp You Are My Universe Stamp and Die Set. For the background she used Distress Oxide Ink Sprays and a Hocus Pocus Layering Stencil along with Ranger Texture Paste, she also added some Tim Holtz Falling Stars, and machine stitching to finish.

Andrea made an October birthday card using stamps from different designers to create a unique scene. She used Simon Says Stamp’s Big Bold Birthday Stamps and Dies, Tim Holtz’s Halloween Sketchbook and Studio Light’s One Way Ticket stamp sets. She cut her card out using Avery Elle’s Pierced Rounded Frame Dies.

Anna-Karin made a tag featuring a cute mouse in an autumn forest. The mouse comes from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Days set, from the new exclusive STAMPtember® release. For the background she did a resist technique with Simon Says Stamp Leaves Background and Crackle Background.

Barbara created a card using the new Simon Says Stamp Snowflakes Circles set together with Altenew Platinum Embossing Powder. She chose unusual colors for her Christmas project: Kitsch Flamingo and Cracked Pistachio Distress Spray Stain, some drops of Ranger Distress Mica Stain Frosty Mint. The sentiment is enclosed in a circle cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vintage Labels.

Cheiron created a fall card using the brand new STAMPtember® Leaf Tumble Embossing Folder. She blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks over it and lightly sanded it. She added some Simon Says Stamp Windswept Leaves Wafer dies, a Fancy Thanks sentiment die and a few Trinity Stamps Unicorn Tears Embellishments for a bit of shine. She did not add stamps on the outside but added a special message from the Friend Greetings on the inside.

Kath created a card using the Friendly Ghosts stamp set and dies from the STAMPtember® release along with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask Stencils, Mr Bones stamp set and Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Mica Stains.

Lols made a card using a Stamptember Big Bold Birthday Stamp and Die Set. For the background she splattered Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Distress Resist Spray followed by Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink Sprays. When it was dry she used a Simon Says Stamp Circle Hoops Embossing Folder to add some texture. She colored the images with Zig Real Brush Markers and finished with some machine stitching.

Macarena made a birthday card using several Simon Says Stamp products: the Bold Geometrics stencil which she dry embossed on the background panel, Mushroom Stems die and Leaf Egdes stamp where she fussy cut the leaves and made a dimensional composition with them.

Maura created two fun projects with the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Checking In Stamp Set. She also used her favorite paper choice for water media, Canson Watercolor paper, along with Simon Says Stamp’s Pawsitively Saturated Tropic Ink, and fussy cut with her favorite Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Scissors.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 28 on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Clear Stamps Drop The Mic and Tim Holtz Idea-ology INDUSTRIAL GEARS Embellishments.

Zoey used the CZ Design Clear Stamp Enjoy to make her card. For the background she used Distress Inks Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick , for the ink she used Archival Ink Hickory Smoke and for the layering of her paper pads, she used Tim Holtz Ideaology Paper
