It’s Lori’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Lori’s classic Christmas cards were created using Impression Obsession’s Pooh Wreath and Piglet and Eeyore Tree stamp sets. She stamped the images twice in Versafine Clair Acorn ink, painted with watercolors, then fussy cut out one of each image with Tim Holtz Mini Snips. Finally, she dabbed on some Snowfall Holiday Grit Paste, added foam tape to pop up the images, then die cut the paintings using Master Layouts 8 dies and layered on top of red, green, and brown cardstock to form the A7 cards.  Merry Christmas!

Andrea made a quick and easy Christmas card using one of Prima’s Candy Cane Lane 3×4 Journaling Cards. The tree and sentiment came from a Poppy Stamps Whittle Forest Reindeer Stamps and Dies Kit and the star topper is from a Simon Says Stamp Stars Wafer Die Set.

Anna-Karin made a Christmas card with a snow theme using the fun Simon Says Stamp Let It Snow stamp set. The focal image was stamped with Distress Oxide Inks and the card was embellished with Simon Says Stamp Winter Flurries.

Barbara made a couple of festive tags with a very vintage mood. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tags Thinlits Dies, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Festive Collage CMS 459 stamps set, Idea-ology Christmas Paper Dolls, Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pad Woodsy, Ranger Ink Distress Watercolor Pencils.

Cheiron created a bright and cheerful tag using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tags dies. She combined Salvaged Patina Distress Archival and Antique Linen Distress Ink to create her tag. She added layers from the Modern Festive Thinlints, and a sentiment from the Christmas Cutouts dies. To complete her tag she added some spatters of Picket Fence Distress Paint.

Emma used Tim Holtz products to create a project full of joy and added layer upon layer to her Mini Etcetera Tag, which was covered with Christmas Collage Tiles. The layers included a Size 8 tag, that she textured with Translucent Crackle Paste applied through the Numeric Layering Stencil and she also added Christmas Botanical Layers to frame the Christmas Paper Doll image before completing the project with a Bold Text Die Cut.

Kath created Wintry Night Sky Christmas cards with a neutral palette using Tim Holtz /Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask Stencils, BottleBrush Trees and Holiday Sketchbook stamps and added a pop of red with the sentiment and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Swirling Stars Thinlits.

Lols made a Winter Wonderland card using a Tim Holtz Mr Frost and Darling Deer Die Sets. For the background she used a Brutus Monroe Twinkling Traditions Paper Pack, a Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil, Ranger Opaque Texture Paste and Hero Arts Earth Safe Glitter.

Macarena made a watercolor Christmas scene using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamp set and several shades of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pads, she also heat embossed the entire image with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder.

Maura made a fun little Christmas decor piece using a Tim Holtz Square Vignette box, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Cozy Christmas Snowman Stamp, and Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the stamped from Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps HOLIDAY SCENES on the background, colored it with Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET Art Philosophy, and decorated it with Studio Katia CHUNKY SPARKLE Glitter.

Zoey used the newly released Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Bottle Brush Trees to decor the background of her tag. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Layers and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Paper Dolls to decorate it.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
