Paula made a card using a Tim Holtz ‘Fanciful Flight’Die. It was designed to create a butterfly, but in this case the wings became a flower, such a great way to stretch your supplies! For the colouring of the petals she used an Ecoline Watercolor Set and Dylusions Bubblegum Pink Ink Spray. For the background she used Paper Artsy Sunset Beach and Slime Infusions and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink.
Andrea made a handful of scrap tag notebooks with a subtle flower on each. The flowers she used are from Tim Holtz’s Wildflowers die. She also incorporated lots of circles using Reverse Confetti’s Swirlie die, Simon Says Stamp’s Circle Loops die and Seth Apter’s Coffee Ring die.
Anna-Karin made a tag covered in colorful flowers. The flowers were die cut from left over stamped, inked and watercolored papers using Tim Holtz’s Sizzix Funky Floral 1 and Funky Floral 2 die sets.
Barbara used three versions of the same floral design to create her weekly project. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Tiny Houses, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Vines and Roses, Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 25 , Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 5 and a lot of Distress Oxides to color her little houses.
Cheiron used Tim Holtz’s Funky Floral 1 and Funky Floral 2 dies to create this fun, layered thank you card. She created the bold sentiment to layer over the top with the Shadow Script 2 dies with a touch of gold from the Metallic Kraft Stock Paper Pad.
Emma was inspired by a piece of her Grandma’s embroidery to create two cards that are covered in dimensional flowers. She used Tim Holtz’s Funky Florals 3 die to create her blooms which were layered over a Distress Oxide Ink background, complete with an Ornate Trim stamped border.
Kath decorated an Ideaology Mini Clipboard with Tim Holtz Memoranda Paper, Worn Wallpaper and lots of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Floral 3 Thinlits inspired by an old vintage postcard of a 1950’s girl posing in an English Country Garden
Lols made a card using a Darkroom Door Fresh Buds Cling Stamp. She used Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks and various Ink Sprays for the background and added interest and texture using Stitches and Burlap Layering Stencils.
Macarena’s Art Journal pages have bloomed with a sunny Sizzix Tattered Florals on the neutral background built with TCW Modeling Paste and TCW Small Specimens stencil with some touches of gold and Distress Ground Espresso Stain.
Maura was influenced by the Flower Power of the Sixties when she painted her canvas tote, using the Paper Artsy Tracy Scott Eclectica3 flower stencil, the Simon Says Stamp Irregular Dots stencil, and bright acrylic paints from Dina Wakley like Tangerine and Lime.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Prima Marketing Rose Flowers and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Token.
Sandra went botanical with this card, she used the Botanical Collage paper and colored it in with different colors of Infusions. She also used the Flickering Butterflies die set from the new Fluttering By Simon Says Stamp release
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
