COLD AS ICE

Susan created a wintry card using Tim Holtz Tall Pines, Paper Village, Mini Holiday Greens and Funky Foliage dies. She added some Distress Mica Flakes, Ranger Star Dust Stickles and white paint for an icy effect.

When Andrea saw an ice theme, her mind went straight to Izink Ice Glaze. She used these (Frostbite, Arctic Grape, Whisky Frost and Winter’s Night), along with Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design’s Introverts Unite stamp set, to create an abstract page in her small Dylusions Creative Journal.

Anna-Karin created an icy tag after a very cold week. The Simon Says Stamp Holographic paper was embossed in the Kaleidoscope embossing folder. The lamppost comes from Tim Holtz Christmas 2021 Vault Series.

Barbara used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Assemblage Clock to create a Christmas decoration inspired by the iced texture. Her Gingerbread House is made with Tim Holtz Sizzix Village Collection completely covered with Ranger Distress Dry Glitter. She lighted the house with Idea-ology Tiny Lights Christmas Festive colors, decoration for the roof is made with Idea-ology Red and White Confection.

Cheiron is celebrating the season with a cold as ice holiday cocktail! She created a card with the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Cocktail Blueprints stamps, and colored her cocktail in festive holiday colors of Festive Berries and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks on a blue blended background. She completed her card with an Idea-ology Christmas Label Sticker.

Emma created an icy winter wonderland on her card and used the Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask by Tim Holtz to create the background for her scene that also includes the Darling Deer Thinlits Die, surrounded by Tall Pines and completed with a dusting of Mica Flakes.

Kath created an icy winter woodland scene in her Dylusions Creative Journal using Simple Stories Rustic Vintage Christmas Papers and Woodland Bits and Pieces, Tim Holtz Distress Paints and Snowfall Grit Paste, Stampers Anonymous Deco Arch and Snowflakes Layering Stencils, Jolly Santa Winter Watercolor 2 Stamps and Idea-ology Christmas Sticker Book.

Macarena  made an ice cold tag using Tim Holtz Stunning Snowflake Dies a Simon Says Stamp Snowflakes Stencil and Tonic Celestial Blue Nuvo Crackle Mousse

Maura made some icy tags to add to gifts this season. She used the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Thin Ice dies, and Tim’s Flurries stencil. The icy element as added with Stampendous’ Shaved Ice.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media holiday tag using Stamperia Christmas Patchwork Clear Stamps, colored it with Zig Portable Gansai Tambi 14 Colors Travel Watercolor Set, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Distress Mica Flakes and Studio Katia Chunky Sparkle Glitter.

Sandra made a Christmas card with the Woodlands die and Sparkle Stencil. To give the background some color she used Distress Spray Stain Speckled Egg with Perfect Pearls Pewter. 

Zoey used the Tim Holtz Special Edition Sizzix Die “Dash Away All” to decorate this tag. She also used a bunch of Distress Inks, Distress Spray and Distress Paint. For the texture she also used Tim Holtz CRACKLE 3oz Distress Texture Paste Ranger
