This week we are welcoming the lovely Megumi aka Ink-Lady Blue into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her instagram gallery or Ink Lady Blue blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Megumi created an interactive card using a Katzelkraft stamp /chats and a Tim Holtz Snarky Cat. She used a  Mechanical Bigz Die, Brick Work and Circuit Texture Fade 3D Embossing Folders, Salvaged Patina Distress Paint, and Distress Inks for the background.

Please pop by Megimi’s blog to see the video of how the cats and gears move.

Anna-Karin made a fun steampunk card using the KatzelKraft Robot Chien stamp. The background was embossed in Simon Says Stamp Lumen embossing folder.

Barbara created a couple of tags using KatzelKraft Background Halftones mixed with two stencils by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Dotted LineGradient Square and the sentiments from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inquisitive stamps set. At the center, she used two fun bunnies from Tim Holtz Sizzix Bunny Hope and painted her backgrounds with various Ranger Distress Inks Spray Stain.

Cheiron created a card with a quirky little coffee drinker, the Katzelkraft Chien Enervy…she paired her stamped image with an inky background created with Distress Inks and the Stampers Anonymous Spills and Splats and School Desk stamps. She finished her card with a sentiment using a Small Talk Snarky Tim Holtz Idea-ology sticker.

Emma’s background for her quirky card featured the Katzelkraft Etoile Background stamp embossed with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder. As the main focal point she used the ‘grand duke’ from Stampers Anonymous Observations stamp set by Tim Holtz and added a quote taken from the Halloween Snarky Cats.

Kath created a set of notecards using the floral images from Katzelkraft Fleurs stamp set.  She had lots of fun adding colour in a very loose “outside the lines” style using Tim Holtz Distress Re-inkers. She matted the panels on to co-ordinating coloured Simon Says cardstock and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Snarky Stickers and a little bit of doodling to add a quirky twist.

Lols  used a Katzelkraft Les Chiens Stamp Set to make a fun birthday card. For the background she splattered with Distress Resist and spritzed with Faded Jeans and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Sprays. She used a Tim Holtz Digits Layering Stencil and added some script using Faded Jeans Archival Ink. She added a few balloons to finish.

Macarena has helped this cute Katzelkraft Chien Enervy doggy to pack up in Tim Holtz Sizzix Baggage Claim dies suitcases and be ready to go. Due to the Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Cactus and Destination she thinks the doggy is planning some exotic journey. What an envy!

Maura made a quirky love card using Katzelkraft’s Robot Chien stamp and their Carte Postale set.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Katzelkarft Giraffe in the Cloud Rubber Stamp and colored it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint then added sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Snarky Small Talk Stickers

Sandra loves the super cute Enervy stamp from Katzelkraft, gave him some handmade pair of geeky glasses, and added texture to the background with the Circuit 3D Embossing folder

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
