Anne’s summer memories had to include spending long lazy days at the beach collecting treasures, so she created a memory tin. She altered a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Trinket Tin to create her own treasure’

Andrea created a tag booklet with a soothing summertime vibe. She used Tim Holtz’s Typeset Collage Paper and the Sizzix Stacked Tags die set for the outside, then filled it with My Mind’s Eye’s Gingham Gardens patterned paper.

Anna-Karin made a scrapbooking layout about summer memories. She used Tim Holtz Motif cardstock for the base and stamped it with stamps from the Mini Glitch set. The title was die cut with the new Simon Says Stamp Large Outline Happy die.

Barbara This week’s theme inspired Barbara to make an Etcetera tag with a super summer and colorful version of Arthur! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Spring Shadows CMS 393 stamps set, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil BubblesTim Holtz Sizzix Happy Hour Thinlits die and a lot of Ranger Distress inks pads.

Cheiron created a card with a tropical drink thinking of summer vacations with family and friends. She used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Blueprint Cocktails stamp over a background of Distress Oxides stamped with the Halftone and Rings stamps. She colored in her cocktail with Distress Ink Reinkers and added a sentiment from the Idea-ology Snarky Small Talk Stickers.

None of us will forget the Summer of 2020 but Kath is focusing on happy summer memories past and present on her Art Journal page inspired by bird feathers found in her garden, memories of picking blaeberries (bilberries or European Blueberries) on woodland walks and her love of butterflies. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Field Notes and Faded Type stamp sets and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Holiday Brushstroke and Scribbly Butterflies Thinlits with Idea-ology Clipping Stickers.

Macarena can’t imagine a summer without a seaside which is where she charges her batteries each year. She made a simple card with self made backgrounds using Prima Marketing Oriental Wall stencil and a fabulous steampunk fish from Stamperia Sea World paper collection.

Maura‘s summer memories are filled with the family garden this summer. She made a garden-themed notebook, using Darkroom Door’s Buzzing Bees and Carved Flowers small stencil, along with Darice Mini Garden Tools and a Tim Holtz Philosophy tag.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Rose Inky Antic Paper on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Fresh Brewed Blueprint and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Big Talk Snarky.

Sandra was inspired by the very warm summer and the sunny days for her card, and she used the Dare to Dream stamp set as the starting point for her background, and used the Rays stencil with Crackle Texture Paste, to color it, she used Distress Embossing Glaze Tattered Rose and Fossilized Amber

Zoey used as always Distress Paint in blue tones to add color to her tag. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Embellishments and Mummy Cloth to create this beach vibe. She also used Stacked Circles die to create some interest in her background

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
