Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the ‘E’ Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to
Create A Scene
As you may know, the Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.
We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!
Please remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details of how we made these creations and leave these wonderful girls some comment love
Tracey created a sweet vintage scene with Tim Holtz Paper Dolls and Field Notes Snippets. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Scribbly Butterflies, Crochet 2, Pattern Repeat and Holiday Greens Mini Dies along with the Brickwork 3D Texture Fade and Distress Embossing Glaze for the background.
Anna-Karin created a scene with a dinosaur in a jungle. It’s a slider card, so the dino can move across the card. It was made with the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Brontosaurus die and the greenery was made with the Leafy Frame die. Everything was colored with Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks.
Barbara created a scene thinking about the difficult period we are living to remind everyone to keep dreaming of exploring the world because surely we will soon be able to do it again! She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Baggage Claim Bigz Die, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Halftone, Ranger Embossing Glaze and Distress Cracked Leather Cardstock
Cheiron created a beach scene, somewhere she would like to be sitting right now! She created a background using bright colors of Distress Paint. To create her scene she used Tim Holtz Sizzix Tropical and Happy Hour Thinlits dies. She finished her scene with a sentiment from the Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text stamp set.
Emma created a scene about travel, something I think we’re all looking forward to in the future! She used the Baggage Claim Bigz Die by Tim Holtz, placed on a background of the Travel Collage Paper and surrounded the vintage luggage with stamped imagery from The Professor stamp set, and those glorious hats from the Distinguished Stamp Set.
Kath created a scene inspired by her garden to decorate the cover of an Idea-ology Small Collection Folio with a reminder that now more than ever we should enjoy the little things. She used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1, Feathered Friends, Media Marks and Alphanumeric Label Thinlits and the Brickwork 3D Texture Fade.
Macarena created a scene of two Profesors arguying about who’s right. She used Tim Holtz The Professor and Dapper stamps. She also stamped Tim Holtz Type Lower Alphabet numbers with Distress Picket Fence paint. The dialogue was taken from Idea-ology Snarky Small Talk stickers.
Maura created an underwater scene using Paper Artsy Eclectica03 04 stamps by Gwen Lafleur, Simon Says Stamp’s Beautiful Mermaid set, Stamperia Sea World paper, and Emerald Creek embossing powders like Lapis Lazuli.
Zoey used Distress Paint to color her little houses, Tim Holtz Idea-ology TYPESET Collage Paper and Tim Holtz Idea-ology BOTANICAL Collage Paper to create the background. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology URBAN LAYERS to decorate it.
