This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Stacy Hutchinson, aka Tattered Nest Designs into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited Stacy’s blog then you are in for a real treat! Please pop by to say Hi!

Stacy was inspired by one of her favorite movies ‘Moulin Rouge’. She used one of the new Tim Holtz  Stampers Anonymous Small Etcetera Tags along with a couple of Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous newly released stamp sets, Glorious Bouquet,  Ornate Trimmings, and Botanical & Batik.

Andrea made some love-themed matchbooks using Tim Holtz’s Matchbook Set dies, Carabelle Studio’s Frise Nuage stamp and Carabelle Studio’s Ronds Art Printing Texture Plates.

Anna-Karin started out with a quote about love and ended up with an art journal page. She used Carabelle Studio’s Dans Les Champs and Herbier 2 stamp sets and worked in her brand new Jane Davenport Mixed Media Canvas Cover Journal.

Barbara has created a mixed media card themed Valentine’s day! She used Carabelle Studio GRANDS CERCLES Embossing Folder, Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and Idea ology Tim Holtz Idea-ology FOUND RELATIVES Portraits.

Cathie created a card featuring Carabelle Studio’s Flowers stamp. The simple mixed media background  was created using Paper Artsy Infusions pigment powders and the Tim Holtz Papillon stamp set.

Emma created a panel full of love and used Carabelle Studio’s Constellation Stencil to add a textured background to her project before using Tim Holtz’s Industrial and Heartfelt dies to create the layers for her focal point of a Paper Doll.

Kath decorated an Idea-ology Mini Mason Jar with Carabelle Studio Nichoirs Cling Stamp, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Sidekick Valentine Side-Order and Festive Greens Thinlits and filled it with Love Hearts for a sweet Valentine Treat

Lols used a 3 Oiseaux Cling Stamp to make a Valentines Card. For the background she masked a flower from a Paper Artsy Zinsky Art Set  before smooshing  Distress Oxide Inks.  She used a Copic Multiliner to doodle some stitches around the edges and added a strip of ‘grass’ across the bottom.

Macarena made a love card using Carabelle Studio Envolee de Coeurs embossing folder colored with Candied Apple Distress Spray. She also made a trick on Simon Says Stamp Good Reading Background stamp with embossing the Distress Oxide Walnut Stain ink with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder to get brown embossing.

Maura made four ATC’s using Carabelle Studio’s Les Oiseaux, Coeur Fleuri heart stamp, and Ecriture a la Plume stencil. These little birds are ready to fly some love to some special people.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Carabelle Studio Des Ronds Cling Stamp for the background pattern and Simon Says Stamp Cupids Heart Wafer Die for more texture on the tag.

Sandra’s bridal card was made with a stamp she created with Foam and the Carabelle 2 Flower stencil.

Zoey used the beautiful Carabelle Studio FRISE NUAGE edge cling stamp to add a funny frame to her cardboard vignette – she also had fun using Paper Artsy Infusions and Ranger Distress Paint to color it!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
