Nikki from Addicted to Art has recycled a cat food box to create a grungy, layered mini book. Her collaged pages feature stamps from Tim Holtz’s Theories stamp set along with lots of leftover scraps including Tim Holtz Ideology Journal Cards and Dina Wakley Collage Paper.

Andrea gave new life to three discarded clothing tags. She used lots of fun silhouette shapes from different stamp sets: Dina Wakley’s Abstract Figures and Scribbled Silhouettes and Visible Image’s Don’t Judge.

Anna-Karin made a tag using plastic packaging, a clothing tag, an old pair of jeans and other bits and pieces. The bird was die cut with Tim Holtz Patchwork Bird die, and the title comes from the Simon Says Stamp Joyful Frame die set.

Barbara recycled an old wooden spool to create the base for Tim Holtz’s Santa’s helper! She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini Paper Stash ChristmasTim Holtz Half Trees Woodland Findings, Alcohol Pearls Inks SmolderEnvy and Deception. She also created a matched tag with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous’  Perfect PlaidsFestive overlay and Tim Holtz Sizzix Large Funky Festive Thinlits dies

Cheiron used a piece of old book paper that had a Christmas theme for the main panel of her card. She stamped a tiny scene from the Seasonal Scribble set along with a Plaid Background from the Lumberjack set stamped in Cobalt Archival Ink and colored in with Distress Oxides.

Emma recycled some kraft paper, ribbon and buttons and combined it with Tim Holtz’s Seasonal Scribble Stamp Set to create some hand stamped gift wrap and decorative ribbon for her Christmas presents. To complete the presents she used the Funky Festive and the Large Funky Festive Die Set to make some floral toppers.

Kath recycled Idea-ology Design Tape tubes to make festive treat gifts for her Christmas guests. She decorated with Simon Says Stamp Kate Snowflake die-cut from Silver Glitter Card, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Seasonal Scribbles and Idea-ology Woodland Mini Tree Lot and Sizzix Alphanumeric Label Thinlits.

Macarena recycled a fishnet and old book pages making a very colorful and textured card using Tim Holtz Fragments stamps, Prima Marketing Words You Need sticker and Simon Says Stamp Look For The Rainbows stamp.

Maura turned some cardboard into a rustic Christmas ornament, using Stamper’s Anonymous Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprints 5 and Stampingbella’s Holiday Fun Sentiments. She added some glitter with Ranger Glossy Accents and Distress Rock Candy Glitter.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the recycled cardboard on the background and decorated it using Tim Holtz Sizzix Geo Christmas Thinlits Dies and Idea-Ology Christmas Typography Findings.

Sandra used corrugate cardstock from some packaging as the base of her card and altered a thick felt label from her new jacket. With the Mechanica mouldArt PebblesDroplets and other things she made a masculine dimensional card.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
