How are you? Happy Weekend! How was your Christmas? I can’t believe it’s over….and one more week until 2016! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. Welcome to the latest edition of Weekender with Wanda here on the Simon Says Stamp Blog. So happy to see you today. I’m still in birthday card mode at the moment. Trying to rebuild my stash on hand of birthday cards ready to send or give out. Today on Weekender with Wanda I’m doing a company spotlight on My Favorite Things Stamps. I  am crazy for anything from MFT and these brand new ‘Adorable Elephants’ are the sweetest things ever. It’s a brand new stamp set and I’ve been wanting to use it. You’ll see why!

I combined the Adorable Elephants stamp set with another of my fav MFT stamp sets called Modern Blooms and accented everything with a sheet of soft plaid paper. I colored the elephant and balloon with my Copic Markers.

For the flower and leaves, I tried to match the patterned paper with soft ink colors. Then I used the matching dies to cut them out. I stamped the sentiment and the elephant in the new Intense Black Ink Pad from Simon Says Stamp. It’s perfect for coloring with your Copics.

After I colored the elephant and balloon, I attached all my elements with foam squares. I added a few gems here and there because I sort of think that every card needs a little sparkle!
