Surf N Sand… Yes Please!
I can’t deny it, I’m missing warm weather really badly right now. So…to bring some sunshine into my world, I’ve created a card that reminds me of the beach!
I played around with Peakcock Feathers Distress Ink and Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise Spray Ink on Watercolor paper…that’s my SURF! Peaking through from behind is my sunshine of Dylusions Squeezed Orange!!
I used the new die from Tim Holtz… Courtyard Frameworks…it’s amazing!!! Love the continuous design! To finish off my design, I added Doodlebug White Sprinkles to the centers.

It is hard to imagine that Spring will ever arrive while we still have 6 foot high snow banks lining our driveway, so your hint of sun, sand and surf was a welcome relief from the white-on-white scenery here on the shores of Georgian Bay. Just love the overall effect of this card, Shari.
I loved seeing the video of the process on this. It wasn’t completely clear from the card itself how you went about it, so I appreciate seeing things step-by-step. I love the color combination on the card. I’ve been into teal and orange a lot lately, myself.
My favorite part of the card is the black “thanks”. It adds just the right amount of contrast and gives a really modern look.
