(Card by Tasnim Ahmed)
Hi readers! Happy Monday to you! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend! I’m pleased to kick off the ‘work’ week with two gorgeous cards by the creative geniuses behind Altenew!
For Tasnim Ahmed and Jennifer Rzasa, starting a stamp company has been a dream in the brewing. The girls joined forces to launch Altenew; a small online based company located in the East Coast of the United States.
Altenew strives to bring you fresh, innovative and versatile designs. Their stamps are made from high quality clear photopolymer, and are manufactured in the USA.
You can view the entire collection of Altenew products here. They are in the STAMPtember® spotlight today! Please welcome Jennifer Rzasa & Tasnim Ahmed!
Enjoy!

Supplies:
I started this card by stamping the tree and the bicycle with a very light ink. I used Distress ink Antique Linen as it is one my lightest colors. Once the images are colored, the light outlines don’t show much, giving them a natural look. I used Copic markers for coloring. For the leaves on the tree, I simply dabbed the tip of the markers at random places to create a speckled look. For the bicycle, after it was colored with the same pink and gray markers, I used a 0.3 point black pen to draw the spokes of the wheels and the chain assembly.
I adhered a 1” wide gray card stock along the bottom of the card to mimic a pavement, and stamped the shadows with Versamark ink. To add a little sparkle, I adhered a thin strip of silver glitter card stock where the images and their shadows meet. The finished card is 3.5″ x 5.5″.
