Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: MEOW-lloween Shaker Featuring Studio Katia

Studio Monday with Nina-Marie

Hello everyone and Happy Monday! I am thrilled to be back to my usual Studio Monday blog series… STAMPtember was so much fun, don’t you think??  We know that many of you enjoy creating Halloween projects, so we wanted to feature some inspiration using the new Studio Katia Meowy Halloween stamp set.

The set features some whimsical images, such as a cat, pumpkins, candy and “punny” sentiments. I also paired this set up with Studio Katia’s Stitched Creative Rectangles dies, Simon’s Creepy Cute and Just Words sets.

In the video, I share how I built the shaker card, as well as how I colored the cat and pumpkins. The coloring uses a technique where I paired Zig Markers and Prismacolor colored pencils together to create a detailed and intense shading effect!

A few other fun details on this card are the super-cute Doodlebug Eye Candy embellishments that I added to the cat. They give the kitty so much extra character!

All of the patterned papers you see in this card are from Pebbles’ Bootiful collection. I love the playful feel they give to this scene! And inside the shaker, I’ve included a ton of Pretty Pink Posh’s Iridescent Star Confetti… I really love how the confetti picks up the colors around it!

Be sure to check out the video below to see how this card came together… I hope it inspires you to use some of these fun Halloween products in your upcoming projects!
