Magic Slider Card (Color Slider)
Hello, all! Kristina here. I have a fun card for you today!
Have you seen the Magic Slider dies from the Diecember release? If you’ve never seen a Magic Slider card, these dies might seem a bit confusing. But the dies will help you make an amazing interactive card!
In my video below I walk you through how to create a Magic Slider card–and there are SO many other ways to make a card like this, too! The main idea is to have a colored area inside a window. A piece of white cardstock is hiding the coloring. As you slide the white cardstock away it reveals the coloring.
I used the bunny from the Cuddy Critters stamp set and the balloon from the Cuddly Critters Accessories stamp set for the colored scene. The coloring was done using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Strathmore Bristol paper. I also used those markers for some “ink smooshing” to create the watercolor background.
Have you created a Magic Slider card before? Let us know in the comments!
