Hello Friend

Hi there! Happy Saturday!  I’m really loving the sweet simplicity of this beautiful CAS card by Jennifer Rzasa! The pastels give me a hopeful reminder of the next season coming to us in the Mid-West… SPRING!  Doesn’t the SSS Khaki cardstock provide a lovely base for pastels? Be sure to watch Jennifer’s video below to get the full details on how she made this great card!

Enjoy!

  1. Great card and video! Love the splatter and the hello die too! Make me want to get out my label maker. I did own a trapperkeeper (sp?) , I think in Middle School. :) Thank you for sharing.

  2. My Dad had one of those label makers when I was a kid and everything in the house had a label. Thanks for the tip on splattering. I already follow by email.

  3. wow great tip!! I love splatter but sometimes I want it to match my ink… never thought to just use the ink. Duh! Your card came out so adorable, and I just love that paper too. I bought it as soon as I saw it. I thought I was the only one who saved the tops of those papers ;) I love using them on my cards.

  4. Great card Jenn. I too use the little strips from the top of the paper, some are so super pretty.

  5. Hello! This is really a cute card. Thanks for sharing all the little techniques in your video!

  6. Great to see the dies used on a pastelcard! I’m completely in love with worth-dies… Use them ofter and ofter… Inky greetings, Gerrina

  7. Hi Jennifer, I love the simplicity of your beautiful card! And I agree, why throw away the perforated strip when you can make such a beautiful banner with it?! I enjoyed your video and wonderful card.

  8. Love the die-cut hello and I always enjoy seeing words made with a label maker – I use my old Dymo a lot! Nice touch!
