Hello Friend

DSC_1168 (2)-2

Hi there! Happy Saturday!  I’m really loving the sweet simplicity of this beautiful CAS card by Jennifer Rzasa! The pastels give me a hopeful reminder of the next season coming to us in the Mid-West… SPRING!  Doesn’t the SSS Khaki cardstock provide a lovely base for pastels? Be sure to watch Jennifer’s video below to get the full details on how she made this great card!

Enjoy!

  1. This is a very pretty card! I love those cross-stitched hearts and the fun hello die cut!
I agree with you. I’m embracing everything that’s warm, bright and colorful! I live in Illinois (have my whole life) and can’t remember a winter that was more continually brutal than this one! I guess that’s why my family didn’t manage to “get away” last summer so we’d be able to plan a spring break vacation to Georgia without worrying about finances! I am not counting on it being warm, just warmer than here, LOL! Stay warm and get lots of crafting done, that’s my motto for now! I hope that you can do that, too!

  2. Love how you used the “extra” bit of paper on your card and used an ink pad for your splatter marks. Great way to use the supplies you already have on hand.

  3. Thanks, Jennifer, for sharing. Love the card. I particularly love your incorporating the part of the paper that most of us probably throw away!!!

  4. Very pristine. I love the little dots and how each part of the paper was used up. I’ll be saving my paper tops from now on!

    Thanks for sharing. :)

  5. Loved your video – and a very simple pretty card. I need to add that HELLO to my wish list too!

  6. Sweet! I love that Hello die, too. It’s been on my wish list a long time. I like the splatters, the small band with the perfectly factory-placed hole and the subtle pink with the subtle hearts, since neither is what I reach for. Oh, and the label maker! I played with one as a kid, too. My mother gave me a new one as a birthday gift a few years ago. Love it!
