Hello Friend

Hi there! Happy Saturday!  I’m really loving the sweet simplicity of this beautiful CAS card by Jennifer Rzasa! The pastels give me a hopeful reminder of the next season coming to us in the Mid-West… SPRING!  Doesn’t the SSS Khaki cardstock provide a lovely base for pastels? Be sure to watch Jennifer’s video below to get the full details on how she made this great card!

Enjoy!

  1. Love this card! Great tip on using the little leftover paper bits that most folks might just discard. Loved the ink splatter idea! Great tip and a great way to have another use from our ink pads. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing!!

  2. Love that you used the old Dynamo Label Maker. Really adds a neat touch to the card. Thanks for sharing with us!

  3. Great card by Jennifer. Love the simple style, and the resourcefulness in using the “old fashion” label maker, and reusing the tiny strip of paper. This “hello” SSS dye might have to become part of my wish list. Cheers!

  4. This is a great card. Gotta get myself some black tape for my label maker never thought of using it like that. Thought everyone had the old style label makers.

  5. Fun to create such a “forgiving” card–with random paint splotches and wholey paper banners! Thanks for reminding us that card-making can be so simple but still eye-catching.

  6. That Jenn R, is a girl after my own heart! I use very little patterned paper because it should last forever. LOL And I don’t throw much away, love how she used the color code from the top of paper as an element on this sweet card. You go Jenn! Thanks for the video too. ;)

  7. I really like the soft look to this card. Nice choice of papers. That Hello die is a real new concept to me being so large. Now I see just how it can be used. TFS!

  8. This card is absolutely stunning!! Perfect composition, wonderful colours, expert everything!! Please showcase Jen Rzasa more – she is amazing!!

  9. Really sweet card, Jennifer. Thanks for the tip on making your own ink splatter; such a simple technique. Thanks for a chance to win.
