For all of our friends, WELCOME! We’re so happy to have you part of our creative community and joining us for our 2018 STAMPtember® celebration! This very special month celebrates our love of stamping and we look forward to having you join in the fun!

STAMPtember defined:

STAMPtember® (stmp-tmbr) is defined by Simon Says Stamp… an event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate our community of stampers.

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an obsession for rubber stamps. However, it didn’t take long until we became a One Stop Shop. Now Simon Says Stamp and STAMPtember® is so much more than stamps! This year you’ll also see a focus on many other exciting products like dies, notecards, and some very special surprises. Our intention is to be your one stop shop in this awesome community! Rubber stamps still remain at the heart of our business, and we are celebrating by releasing exclusive products with many of the industry’s finest brands. Be sure to visit our Blog as the home base for the festivities!

Trust me when I tell you that the activities this year are exceptional, and we have fun surprises to keep you on your toes ALL month long!  We hope you find a product or two from our special exclusive collection releasing today that you LOVE!

  1. I started stamping when I wanted to create my own Christmas cards. I wasn’t sure where to start or what I would need. So I went to YouTube and found Kristina Werner’s channel and I was HOOKED!! I love to create now for all kinds of occasions!

  2. I got suddenly taken off work due to severe pain & my husband said I’d be bored so I should take up a hobby. He suggested quilting which I immediately vetoed as sewing & I do not get along. I have two friends who make cards, so I decided I’d like to try it &, having time, I was able to get together with them once every couple of weeks & learn about it. I am not an artistic person, but I’ve come a long way & still have far to go. I do love it though & with so many amazing products out there, I’ve been pleased with lots of my creations.

  3. Awesome release!! I started after watching many YouTube videos from LawnFawn and Jennifer McGuire and then I bought a few bits and pieces and tried making a couple cards while sitting at a makeshift table in my living room – now I have a whole craft room full of supplies :)

  4. I’ve always had a love for crafting and started scrapbooking after my son was born, but was always amazed by some of the cards I saw people making. One video led to another and now I’m hooked. Currently I’m loving using watercolors on your gorgeous floral stamps. So excited for the new products and looking forward to seeing more.

  5. My sister was taking a class on scrape booking and I told her to spend that kind of time with paper was crazy – at the time I was a quilter. Two years later she sent me a link to one of your channels of someone making a card and the rest is history now I am so hooked it’s not even funny.

  6. I started stamping in the ’80s after my mother had discovered them. The true start for me was when I saw a small card example on a shelf at a drug store in my mother’s small town where someone had used the marker technique to color a row of flowers. I just HAD to know how they got the no-line colors on that stamp and paper! I now have an entire craft room and thousands of stamps and accessories. Love papercrafting and stamping! I stalk new releases to get a look at all the wonderful new ideas.

  7. Gosh, I don’t even remember how I got started stamping! I know I got into papercrafting after attending a friend’s wedding and wanting to scrapbook it to commemorate the occasion. That scrapbook never did get started, but I’ve made lots of cards and some other scrapbooks since then.

  8. I am excited about STAMPtember!
I started stamping when I attended a stamp demo at a local Hallmark store in 1986! I thought it would be fun to make bookmarks and party invitations for my daughter, who was in preschool at the time!

  9. Yay, it’s Stamptember!! I got started stamping about 18 years ago. A friend was an SU! Demo and invited me to a couple parties, but I didn’t really get into it until about 10 years ago when I discovered all the inspiration and challenges on the Internet. I’ve been completely hooked ever since.

  10. What a great release, of course what should I expect since it’s Stamptember?!?! I started out being a scrapbooker and never thought I’d get into stamping. I got involved on an iVillage message board for stampers through a crafty friend and somehow I started stamping. Now I love it and have been incorporating stamping into some of my scrapbook layouts. There is so much that can be done with stamping, the ideas are limitless. Thanks for all the fun that is coming this month.

  11. Such an exciting release! My daughter-in-law got me started in stamping about twenty years ago and I got hooked.

  12. I started stamping and card making about 10 years ago after a freak accident at work put me out and on disability. I was a bit of a scrapbooker but was easily bored by all the pre-made die cuts and by cutting out all the mats for pictures! I was in a scrapbook store one Friday and they were having a card making class. I joined in, bought stamps and ink that day and never looked back! I love card making and the look on people’s faces when they realize I made their card. If they ever create stamped anonymous, I will not be standing in line to join!!

  13. Hooray for STAMPTEMBER!! Loving the look of the new releases! I started out just using a few small stamps to decorate the price tags for my collectibles booth in a local group shop. I soon found my way to my LSS and my passion for card making was born! Happy to be part of this creative community!!

  14. I was invited to a stamping party 17 years ago and have been stamping ever since! Have met many great friends along the way!! Such fun!! This is my first Stamptember!! Excited!!

  15. A friend invited me to make Christmas cards with her and introduced me to heat embossing. I was hooked! That was probably 12-15 years ago!

  16. I really like to color, that’s what originally got me interested in stamping. I loved being able to stamp images and color them in.

  17. I love SSS! You always have the stamps I’m looking to purchase as well as thiose staple items I need. I especially love the outline stamps I can use to color coordinating elements on my cards.

  18. I love SimonSaysStamp Stamptember!!…this release is packed full of super cute/fun new products…looking forward to the upcoming days in September!!

  19. I can’t remember how I started stamping – I have had wooden stamps for ages. I got my first clear stamps about 7 years ago – I was thrilled at how little space they take up compared to wood-mounted stamps.

  20. Love all the wonderful products in your Stamptember release! I began making cards after attending a short class with a friend. There are no local stamp/scrapbooking shops in my area, so thankfully we can shop & learn on the internet!

  21. I started stamping and card making WAY BACK in 2001. I was asked to host a Stampin’ Up party for a teacher friend’s wife. He wanted her to meet some of the people that he worked with. I said “Okay, but I an NOT crafty.” LOL Let’s just say the rest is history. :D

  22. I started stamping when I began making Christmas cards 12 years ago. Since then my hobby has included using my Cricut for many of my paper crafts.

  23. I got started stamping when I went to a sales party. I knew it was PERFECT for me. I bought a bunch, but have bought 100 times more since. All brands.

  24. I started because my wife’s family has been making cards since she was a kid. So I’ve been using stamps for over 30 years.

  25. Oh my ! This is gonna be a great month !! And to answer your question, I actually don’t remember precisely. It was a couple years ago, I’ve found one of Jennifer McGuire videos on YouTube and that’s how I began being interested in cardmaking and so to stamps. Thanks for your generosity !

  26. I gave up my job as a costume designer after my daughter was born. Looking for something to do, I qualified as an art and craft teacher and started conducting workshops. It was while looking for ideas that I stumbled upon Kristina Werner’s blog. And I was hooked! I learnt all the techniques online and it has been an amazing journey!

  27. Wow! Happy STAMPtember!!! Can’t wait to see all the amazing surprises!!!
    Love this release!!!
I started stamping about 4 years ago. I had just downloaded IG and I started to follow some people that share with me the love for planning and decorations. And casually, I found some posts showing awesome cards! I’ve always loved sending cards but I always used to buy them. And from that day forward, I started to buy stamps and making cards!

  28. This is a fab walkthrough highlighting these new products. I started stamping in September 2017 after viewing a pop up box card tutorial online. I bought some patterned paper, card stock and a few stamps and I’ve been making cards since. Thanks for the chance.

  29. I love Stamptember!! I started paper crafting after attending a Creative Memories party about 20 years ago. I was hooked! Stamping naturally flowed from there. I still remember the first rubber stamp I bought. It was three penguins and I used it a lot until I was able to add to my collection. Which now, cough, cough, fills a whole room!

  30. Great products being release, over here in UK we don’t go as mad for Halloween but I do think that stamp set you’re releasing looks fab. I was just starting to stamp this time last year & was blown away by Stamptember & all the amazing work. I’m too ill currently to do anything but admire so please everyone give me lots to drool over & admire.

  31. I Love STAMPtember! I started stamping when I was a Girl Scout leader — it was such a great way to create art if you couldn’t draw. That was decades ago and I haven’t looked back…
