Celebrate + BIG Giveaway!

Heather Campbell for Avery Elle 1 up close

Happy Monday, readers!  I had the pleasure of meeting our guest designer today (Heather Campbell), & Avery Elle‘s own Jamie Gracz at the CHA show last month! They both were so sweet and I always enjoy meeting new people at the show! Heather very graciously volunteered to make these two stunning cards featuring Avery Elle products and WOW, did she deliver or what?

Be sure to keep scrolling down for more information on how to make the cards and complete supply lists.  Also we have a mega giveaway on today’s blog! Check it out!

Enjoy!

Heather Campbell for Avery Elle 1

Supplies:

To begin my card, I stamped the bold lines (from Knotty) along the top 1/3 of my card at an angle with Avery Elle Fog ink.  Then, I stamped and die cut the flowers from Petals & Stems and the leaves from Laurels.  Positioning where I wanted them to go, I stamped a sentiment from Laurels and then permanently secured the floral arrangement using dimensional adhesive. Last, I accented below the flowers with some pearly white sequins, using glue dots to adhere them perfectly in place!

First, I stamped my background pattern on my top fold card.  Then, on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped a sentiment from Avery Elle Circle It.  Surrounding the sentiment, I stamped the two dots around the sentiment to give the appearance of confetti, in just about every color of Avery Elle ink.   Then, I trimmed it at an angle so that it would appear tipped on the card but the sentiment would still be straight.  Along the bottom, I adhered a small piece of black cardstock and then adhered it to the card base with dimensional adhesive.  Lastly, I accented the base layer with some grey and silver sequins.
