I love everything about Fall – and I’m lucky enough to live in Central New York, where the leaves changing color is an absolutely stunning sight to see!

I wanted to create a card that showcases all of my favorite Fall things, so I combined a variety of Newton’s Nook Designs stamp sets and used the small images to create a collage.  You can do this with any of your stamp sets – just look for images that might fit nicely together and try out a few combinations until you find one you like!

When I was happy with the focal panel, I went on to stamp a few of the images I used in Versamark  onto my card base to create a subtle pattern.  I used foam tape to mount the focal panel slightly askew on a mat colored with a Copic marker so that it perfectly matched the patterned paper.  A touch of Wink of Stella to the leaves and hearts and a little Glossy Accents on the acorns and hearts finished up the card!

  1. Love how you used the same images on the background as well as the main front. It just ties in beautifully! Love the colours and layout too!

  2. I like the variety of patterns in the background which are balanced with the focal pattern variety of shapes & colors!

  3. Lovely! Autumn is my favourite season and this just makes me want to go out and walk the dog while admiring the colours and drinking a hot latte!

  4. Cute card, love the collage look. It is such a different feeling seeing all the Autumn coloured and themed cards from the Southern Hemisphere when we are heading into spring and summer in Australia. Just love the contrast. Thanks for the ongoing inspiration.
