Autumn Favorites

Hi readers! Happy Sunday! Please join me in welcoming back the fantastic Kimberly Rendino as a guest on our store blog! I really enjoyed the creativity of this Autumn themed card, and also share Kimberly’s love of Autumn. Read on to learn how to make your own variation. Enjoy!

I love everything about Fall – and I’m lucky enough to live in Central New York, where the leaves changing color is an absolutely stunning sight to see!

I wanted to create a card that showcases all of my favorite Fall things, so I combined a variety of Newton’s Nook Designs stamp sets and used the small images to create a collage.  You can do this with any of your stamp sets – just look for images that might fit nicely together and try out a few combinations until you find one you like!

When I was happy with the focal panel, I went on to stamp a few of the images I used in Versamark  onto my card base to create a subtle pattern.  I used foam tape to mount the focal panel slightly askew on a mat colored with a Copic marker so that it perfectly matched the patterned paper.  A touch of Wink of Stella to the leaves and hearts and a little Glossy Accents on the acorns and hearts finished up the card!

Thanks for reading today, and thanks to Kimberly for being our guest!
