Thanks so much for joining us today to celebrate our mini release filled with useful products for the season!

  1. Nice release! I think I might do an advent calendar in the form of ornaments hanging on the Christmas tree with our favourite chocolates tucked inside.

  2. I love my all time advent calendar box and re-use them every year, this year, I am putting in more $$ instead of candies since the kids are older now! Extra pocket money is always welcome! : )

  3. Great release. I like making advent calendars and also enjoy making birthday countdowns and this release has many products that can be used for either!

  4. I never made an advent calendar myself, but this year I want to try it out. This release looks so great to help me with it. I do make christmas cards myself a lot, so the stamps will also be usefull for that. I like stretching my supplies.

  5. okay so here’s the not so orthodox calendar I am making for my Hubby. He’s getting a beer advent calendar… I have bought 24 different kind of beers – known and unknown – and made the calendar out of a box fitting the 24 cans perfectly, with an slot opening at the bottom right corner exposing the current day can. I put a circle tag on the top of each can with the number of the day – and I have tested so that when he pulls out todays can – the correct next day falls down for the next day. I do hope he likes it!

  6. what a great set of stampsets, I esp love the Houses, I don;t have kids, so advent calendars do not make an appearance in my house, but the little images would go well on my gift tags, or for backgrounds too, the houses on a card, I see scope ;-)

  7. I made a Kaiser Kraft advent house this year for the first time and I can tell you sewing and quilting is a lot easier. LOL. Thanks for a new take on an old adventure.

  8. We do a book Advent calendar, each day reveals a number & a word (“hope” “love” “community” etc). Kids have to find the old or new book on our shelf & that’s the bedtime story for the night. It should be noted that Advent calendars are not just “for” kids – my mom & grandma both use a rosary based one. ;-)

  9. I have never done an advent calendar growing up or with my kids. But I think this the year to start a new tradition and my kids would have so much fun with it.

  10. Not made an Advent calendar before. When younger my daughter would rcv a German Advent calendar with chocolates. I like the person’s idea of the Beer calendar. I’ll try to make one this yr.

  11. I’ve never had an advent calendar before but I’m loving the ideas I’ve seen this year. I’m thinking of making one with a different Bible verse and activity for each day. I can’t wait for the blog hop :)

  12. I’ve never made an advent calendar before, but every year I always get my two little grandchildren lego advent calendars and it is the most anticipated event for them each year … gives them something to look forward to at the end of the day and also gives mom and dad a tool to use to encourage them to be extra good every day.

  13. Super excited about the new releases –
I have never made an advent calendar but will be eagerly checking out the hop on Saturday for inspiration. LOL!!!

  14. I’ve made Advent Calendars (or rather, tags/mini card sets) every year for my niece since she was two (she’s now 6) and my nephew (he’s 4). Getting them done and mailed before Dec. 1st has seen me enter panic-mode, often! This year, I’m going to make them little envelopes which will have Christmas images on the outside, as well as the ‘day’; inside will be a slip of paper with an activity and a little gift (stickers, maybe a gift card, etc.). This time, however, I’m going to mail their little envelopes one at a time! They’ll have 24-25 days of happy mail coming their way! The bonus for me: I don’t need everything done (x 2 as they each need their own calendar) before Nov. 25th! I can create the envelopes a couple days ahead of mailing them. I’m sooooo excited! Thank you for creating this mini Advent release; I’m intrigued!

  15. I never made an advent calendar, but it is something to think about. I have always bought them for my grandchildren. Looking forward to Saturday to see all the inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

  16. Creating an advent calendar is my favorite project of the year. I made a cookie sheet calendar with different die-cut elements for each day, and that has by far been one of my very favorite projects that I’ve made. I’m looking forward to making something new this year!

  17. Beautiful colours and the stamps are so cute. I wish this was out earlier – I just finished making a stocking advent as a gift for someone, with stamped, inked tags and these would have been a perfect fit for that! Or heck, I can just make another one for me!

  18. Oh, how beautiful! I can’t wait to see what everyone has done for the hop!
I have to admit, my daughter loves those advent calendars you guy at the store… the ones with those little chocolate pieces. So I always get one of those. Wouldn’t a handmade one be so much better, though? :D

  19. I have a wooden, flat Christmas tree with hangers for
small ornaments that I needlepointed. On one sideof each ornament is the number and the other side has a little something (a bear, a soldier, etc). I put it out each year
    thanks.

  20. I never done an advent calendar, this release looks like it would be easy to do. Can’t wait for Saturday for all the great ideas.

  21. Fun, fun, fun!! I made an Advent calendar years ago using the metal tin wedding favors. It turned out really cute. May have to make another one!

  22. These are fantastic. I think I’m going to do an advent calendar with little surprises for my nephew. All themed with these and a few other Simon stamps I have. I love how easy it is to mix your own stash at home with new products ❤️❤️❤️

  23. I have a tree I will decorate with Paper ornaments for Advent calendar and a treat on the back of each ornament.

  24. Such a cool idea – I would love to try it! The last advent calendars i made were with little tins and magnets that needed to be glue-gunned (yes, I am making that a verb) on which punched patterned paper and numbers over them attached to a spray painted cookie sheet – the recipients loved it so I bet these kits would be fun too!

  25. I have an old printers-type wooden box that I have used in the past, filling in the little boxes with different little gifts and candy. It would sit on the table or could be hung on the wall. My two children had to take turns choosing the day. I should get it out and do the same for my two youngest grandsons. Looking forward to the blog hop and the ideas!

  26. Nice Advent calendar release ! I have a wooden little house with 24 little doors, I used to put some chocolates (hardly have enough room for 2 chocolates). But the children are getting older now and I think they would prefer some pocket money now ! Thanks for sharing.

  27. No kids at home so won’t be making a calendar. I will be enjoying the beautiful designs made from these fabulous sets though!

  28. I am really intrigued and can’t wait to see these in action! The envelopes look beautiful! I have an advent calendar that I have been meaning to make…but haven’t gotten around to! Lol.

  29. I still have the advent calendar I grew up with – a felt tree with tiny little wrapped packages pinned on. My sister and I took turns choosing one to open every day! I’d love to play with making these new ones.

  30. I love Advent Calendars and am always looking for new ones to make! I have 3 grandchildren and each one gets their own Advent calendar. My granddaughter loves Fairies so her calendar is a tree with numbered Fairies sitting on the limbs. Each one has a little bag that they are holding with a little treat inside. Once a Fairy is removed she goes into one of the Fairy doors that are all around the house so she can go visit her family for the holidays!
I am working on both of my grandson’s calendars and am awaiting inspiration for them. I am thinking of something along the lines of matchbox cars for the youngest with a garage or something for them to go to once the treat is removed and for the oldest grandson I am totally at a loss so far but hope inspiration strikes soon! I love these dies and can’t wait to try them out! TFS!

  31. Great product and idea. I was hoping to make an advent calendar this year for my two girls so I better get to it!
