Hi friends! Happy Sunday! Please join me in welcoming special guest Elise Constable to our blog with a darling Lawn Fawn Valentine card idea using NEW stamps, dies, and stencils! Read on to learn more and enjoy!

Hello everyone! It’s Elise from the Lawn Fawn design team and I’m excited to be back on the SSS blog today to share a card with you all!

For this card, I started by ink blending the background onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. I used the Heart Garden Stencil to stencil the flowers in Wild Rose and Freshly Cut Grass ink. I also added a few extra details to the flowers and stems with a Copic marker in a slightly darker shade. Then, I used the Cloudy Stencil with Mermaid ink to add a few light clouds to the sky. 

I wanted grass for the critters to sit on, so I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Border die and Cilantro cardstock to cut them some grass. I adhered the hillside to the background with double sided tape, and attached the scene to a white card base. 

Next, it was time to create the critters and images for the scene! I stamped the porcupines from the Poru-Pine For You set, the mushrooms and grass from the Gleeful Gardens set, and the clouds from the Butterfly Kisses set onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink. The images were all colored with Copic markers and cut with the coordinating die cuts. 

After all of the images were colored, die cut, and arranged on the card, I began to adhere the images with either liquid glue or foam tape. Attaching a few of the images with foam tape is a great way to add depth and dimension to your cards! To finish the card, I cut and added a white border with the Stitched Rectangle Frames.
