Repeating Die Cut for a Fun Symmetrical Pattern: EZ with CZ
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Please join me in welcoming back special guest Cathy Zielske in our monthly EZ with CZ blog series for January 2024! If this design looks familiar, know you are not imagining things, this card was just posted last week by Kristina Werner! Isn’t it cool to see the similarities yet differences in designs?
Happy new year, everyone! It’s good to be back for another year of EZ with me, CZ! This month, I’m sharing a simple way to repeat some die cuts for a fun card design. I absolutely adore the Simon Says Stamp Faux Mini Envelope Wafer Die!
It’s just the perfect little die cut to add hand-made envelopes to your card projects. I simply repeated mine, sealing each up with a little Doll Pink cardstock heart.
I used some gorgeous patterned paper from Craft Consortium to create an easy, colorful background to hold my envelopes. For the greeting, a simple stamped sentiment strip finished off the design.

A SWEET + EASY Gift Idea: Valentine Heart Pouches! Not a Card with Nina-Marie
Hello there friends, it’s Nina-Marie here with you and I have a cute gift box project to share that features new Lawn Fawn products!
These easy heart-shaped gift boxes would be perfect for filling with sweet Valentine candies to give to loved ones and friends. They are simple enough that you can make a whole bunch in no time at all!
I used the Lawn Fawn Heart Pouch die set (along with its coordinating Dotted Hearts Add-On) to make these bags; I also used the new Cutie Pie patterned paper from American Crafts.
