Hi there! Today’s card uses the April 2024 Card Kit. The stamp set in this kit is called Wild & Free Flowers and I think it’s going to be a hit! It’s a 6” x 8” set that features two large flowers and wonderful everyday sentiments!
To start, I embossed the image over watercolor paper. The gold embossing powder and clear embossing ink is a part of the kit, too! After heat-setting the image, I watercolored it. Check out the video to see the quick watercoloring I did!

The background uses patterned paper from the American Crafts Dreamer collection. It has gorgeous colors and patterns that will inspire you to want to make MANY cards using the contents from this kit! I selected one with a watercolor feel and used the Floating Flowers embossing folder to give it texture. Guess what? This pretty embossing folder is also a part of the kit!
I used foam squares to attach my image. I find this is the best way to attach an image to an 3D-embossed background because the foam tape is bound to adhere to the raised areas well.
I finished with an embossed sentiment from the Wild & Free Flowers stamp. Be sure to grab the Wild & Free Flowers die set to complete the set if you love the stamp! I hope you’ve been inspired by all the inspiration using this kit from designers and I hope you enjoyed this card!
