April showers bring May flowers! These stunners are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face :o)
Linda Beeson crafted this card in full bloom using a charming sentiment from our Expressions For You stamp and die set. Doesn’t just one look at this card put you in a cheery mood?! A springtime showstopper right here! This card was spotted in our Wednesday Anything Goes blog challenge and can also be found on her blog.
Kara Lynne used our Wishing wafer die and Watercolor Friendly Flowers stamp and die set to bring to life this splendor of violet blossoms. We spotted this card in our Flickr group and it can also be found on her blog.
This next card is sure to be crowd pleaser made by Marcie Sharp and uses our Flower Garden stamp and die set. These embossed blooms are beaming around the sunlit yellow. We spotted this card on Instagram and it can also be found on her blog.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, this exquisitely crafted card by Justin Fouche will surely touch a Mother’s heart! He created this charmer with both our Flowers On My Mind stamp and 2 Flowers and 2 Leaves wafer thin dies. We spotted his beautiful card in our Flickr group and you can also find it on his blog.
We love this tastefully simple card created by Tosha DelJanovan so much that it was impossible to not feature! Made with the April 2015 card kit called Celebrate; it perfectly showcases all of the elements this kit has to offer. We spotted this playful card in our Flickr group and in the April 2015 Card Kit gallery. You can also find it on her blog!

Friendship Heals Everything
Hi everyone, Welcome back to the Blog!! It’s Shari Carroll here to show you a couple quick techniques you can do with some Faber-Castell products.
I created a background using my Gelatos and Faber-Castell Glaze. The glaze acts as a resist to the Mango Gelato painted over top. The contrast is amazing!
If you look closely, you can see the brush marks of Gesso on my bird. The gesso helps the Artist Big Brush pens to become very blendable. These pens are India ink and very different from Copics or waterbase markers. While wet, you can blend using your finger. Once dry, they become permanent.
I’ve shot a video on how I created my background and colored the bird. You can view it below or on our YouTube channel.
