Hello crafty friends, Yoonsun here!

I know that STAMPtember event officially ended, but I still love making projects with the STAMPtember goodies, and I am so excited to share my cards with you on Simon Says Stamp Blog today! Today I made Christmas themed cards with non-Christmas flowers. (Hope you enjoy them!)

1) HOLIDAY CHEER TO YOU

To create the card, I 1) Stamped Leaves Background on kraft paper panel with embossing ink, clear heat embossed. 2) Stamped the large flower and leaves from the Big Bloom stamp set on watercolour paper panel with embossing ink, gold heat embossed. 3) Coloured them with Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn Distress inks using waterbrush and then spritzed with a Perfect Pearls Mist over the flowers –Red, green and gold are traditional Christmas colours, right?! 4) Used the sentiment from the MFT Winter Wonderland stamp set. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.

2) MAGIC OF THE SEASON
For my second card, I 1) Stamped large flowers and leaves on watercolour paper panel with embossing ink, gold heat embossed. 2) Coloured them with Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn Distress inks using waterbrush and then spritzed with a Perfect Pearls Mist over the flowers same as my first card. 3) Added white and gold ink splatters here and there. 4) Mounted the watercoloured panel to white card base using double-sided tape. 5) Embellished with PPP gold and clear sequins.

Wicked Flip Frame

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! Today I have a little project idea for you to display in the home for Halloween.

I’ve used the Flip Frame in the past for photos but thought it would be fun to put one together in a Seasonal theme.

Shari-Carroll-Wicked-Frame

I’ve used a lot of Tim Holtz Idea-ology on this including a Pocket Watch and fun items from Tim’s Regions Beyond collection.  I started off with a tag (upside down) and collaged papers on top. Then started layering it up by adding Alpha Parts painted a bit with Brushed Pewter and Rusty Hinge Distress paints.

I added stenciling and some cheese cloth for a bit of texture, and created a dangly piece to hang from one of the frame rings.

I’ve put together a video of the process. You can view it below or on our YouTube channel.

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing more inspiration from Pretty Pink Posh with the new Darling Friends stamp set and Coordinating dies. This time I stamped the image all over the watercolor color panel then watercolored each of the hot air balloons. I let it dry then stamped the cute critters on a separate white cardstock, colored with Copic markers (Editors note: BONUS! Copic markers are NOW 25% off with code FALLCOPIC) then die-cut each one. Next I adhered the critters with foam tape for dimensions.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from a brown cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it with foam tape. Lastly, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling clear sequins to finish off the card. I hope you guys enjoyed! Have a wonderful week.
