Today we are happy to introduce you to five awesome designers who shared their work and caught our eye for the January 2017 edition of our ‘Spotted’ post! We send each of them a little something special for being “spotted.” Be sure to use the hashtag #simonsayssstamp on your social media accounts so we can spot YOU! We find cards on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, in our Simon Galleries, and craft blogs.
The first project for today’s post is this amazing and beautiful wine tag made by Ksenija! (Who doesn’t need wine after the holidays, right?) This project was spotted on Ksenija’s beautiful blog. We love her gorgeous coloring and eye for details. The sentiment on black paper is the perfect touch for an elegant gift. Ksenija used our Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Time For Wine Stamp Set and matching dies. Please visit Ksenija at her Instagram Page or her blog to see more of her amazing work.
Next up is a beautiful felt heart made by the talented Heather! Her craftsmanship is impeccable and these color choices made us swoon! That gorgeous felt is perfect for her lavender sachet project. Heather used our Simon Says Stamp exclusive Blooming Heart Plush Die. To see more of Heather’s work, head on over to her blog or her Flickr page!
We spotted this beautiful card set on Diana’s blog! These cards are clean and simple and well…perfect! We love how she made each one a different color and then used pretty sequins as accents to her cards. Diana used our Simon Says Stamp exclusive Jingle Snowflakes Die and our Peace on Earth Stamp Set. To check out more of Diana’s creations, visit her blog or her Instagram page.
Next up is this pretty sailing card by Lynnea. We can daydream about sailing in the middle of winter when we look at this colorful card! We love the kraft background layered with all the bright summer colors. White embossing the sentiment was the perfect finishing touch! Lynnea used our Simon Says Stamp exclusive Sailing Stamp Set to make her card. Please stop by Lynnea’s blog or her Instagram page.
The final card for today is this clean and simple floral beauty made by Deb. Sometimes less is more, and that is definitely the case with this card. It’s wonderful in its simplicity and attention to stamp placement. Just lovely! Deb used our Simon Says Stamp exclusive Favorite Flowers stamp set to create this card. To view more of Deb’s work, head over to her blog or her Instagram page.
Wasn’t that spectacular!? Would you like to be SPOTTED using Simon Says Stamp product? Love You So Much
Hi everyone…I’m so happy to be back as a guest on the Simon Says Stamp Blog! My card today is all about giving some love to your dies! I used four different dies on this card and I think that they ended up working perfectly together.
I started out by die cutting some of the Simon Says Stamp Mini Hearts from masking paper and randomly placing them on a 4″x5.25″ piece of watercolor paper. Then I used some peach and pink watercolors to create the watercolor background. Be careful not to let too much water sit around the edges of the heart masks so it doesn’t seep underneath. Once that was dry I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle and mounted the panel to a card base made from Simon Says Stamp Fog Cardstock.
Next, I moved on to the sentiment. I die cut the Hero Arts Love and Die Cut from from both gold glitter paper and white cardstock. Then I adhered them together, creating a drop shadow with the white one behind. This adds some awesome dimension and make the word “love” pop off the card! I stamped the coordinating “you so much” message on a Simon Says Stamp Small Folded Banner Die using Simon Says Stamp Hollyhock Ink. Before I adhered the messages with foam adhesive, I stamped a few of the small heart images from the Love Stamp + Cut set with VersaMark ink in the circle window.
I finished off the card with some gold glitter die cut hearts covered in Glossy Accents. Now, I think I’ll tuck this card away and save it for my hubby on Valentine’s Day. Thanks for stopping by today!
