Summer Vacation: Kids Challenge
Welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid’s Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.
ANYTHING GOES WITH GLITTER
It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to ‘DO IT’ themselves as much as possible.
This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive
We have not 1, not 2 but 3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!
For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.
Please give them a warm welcome and leave comments for them on their blog posts. Thank You xx
Abby Crowl, aged 5, Heidi’s daughter, made this fabulous canvas wall art using Distress Paints and Texture Paste mixed with Metallic Paint to give it lots of sparkle
Created by Izzy, age 9, Jo’s daughter: using Lawn Fawn “Into the Woods” Clear Stamp Set
Barbara’s daughter Viola, age 11, used Simon Says Stamp Build A Rainbow Wafer Dies.
Kath’s Grandsons Brodie 11 and Oliver 9 made cards with Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs Stamps and Distress Glitters
Jenn’s boyfriend’s daughter Cate, age 14 used Hero Arts Color Layering Ice Cream, Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Dust and Watercolor Pencils
Marzena’s son Kamil, age 16, made this sweet shaker card for his girlfriend using Sizzix Die Heartfelt BigZ and Prima Cristal Sequins with lots of Distress Inks.
Mandy’s great nephew Ollie age 5 is an Avengers fan & has created this fabulous Thor using Tissue Paper, Googly Eyes, Paint, & a Pom Pom.
Marcus age 7, Mandy’s great nephew altered an old watering can by painting it with Gesso & borrowing his Nan’s Cuttlebug & Coloured Papers to die cut a selection of pretty butterflies & flowers.
Mandy’s great niece Casey age 4 created a super cute caterpillar using Acrylic Paint & Pencils.
Anna-Karin’s son Anton, age 6, made a super spooky and glittery Halloween house, with the Tim Holtz Brownstone die. After he spilled red paint, he started dipping embellishments in it, and then in Distress Glitter, making them look quite scary.
So now its time to let YOUR kids loose in your craft room, you are allowed to hide your most precious crafty goodies though *wink*

Ok… now I found my mistake! My browser fault me and opened the challenge from 2016 instead of the 2017 one! Sorry for this… I’ll hop to the current challenge and post the card there (Yeah, it’s still lots of time left!)
