It’s Ann’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)
Ann used the Distress Spray Stain and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Stripes to make the background. Add some decorations from Tim Holtz Idea-ology as the finishing touch

Andrea created a tag using Tim Holtz’s Stars stencil for the stars and his Media Marks 2 stamp set for the stripes. She cut the leaves and twigs off of a Funky Wreath shape to create a quirky circle. She cut the tag shape with Simon Says Stamp’s Luggage Tags die set.

Anna-Karin made a tag with a star background. The background was made with with Simon Says Stamp Crystal Stars embossing folder. The large word was die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin and the smaller sentiment from Tim Holtz Handwritten Journey.

Barbara made two stars and stripes ATCs using two stamps from the Components series by Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous: Stripes com011 and Retro Carnival com030. For the center, she chose two stamps from the Tiny Things 2 CMS 305 and Holiday Things CMS441 sets. Both are paired with Simon Says Stamp Wafer Dies. The super classic colors are Ranger Ink Distress Ink Pads Oxide, Laumberjack Plaid, Blueprint Sketch Walnut Stain, and Antique Linen.

Cheiron created a clean and simple Stars and Stripes card using the Concord & 9th Slanted Shortcuts dies. She added a sentiment that she inked with the Celebrate stencil set and cut out with the coordinating dies. She added some glittery stars cut from Simon Says Stamp White Glitter Cardstock.

Emma created a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag in celebration of the 4th of July. She used the Sizzix Vault Rosettes Die by Tim Holtz to create dimensional stars painted red, white and blue using Distress Paints. She also used the SSS Marquee Sign Wafer Die to frame an idea-ology Snapshots Vol.2 image before completing the tag with Mini Stencil Chips.

Kath created a card to wish all her friends in the USA a very Happy 4th of July using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking and Grain, Mini Stars Layering Stencil from Set 11, Idea-ology Postmarked Sticker Book and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin and Tailored Thinlits.

Macarena created the yellow – turquoise stripes with Gel Press 8×10 Reusable Gel Printing Plate and acrylic paints. For the main theme she chose the This Calls For Confetti Moments in Time dies. She also added some AALL & Create Fly Around Rub Ons to the background.

Maura headed to her Stamperia Media Journal to create a fun stars and stripes spread. She used Tim Holtz’s Bird Crazy stamps and Simon Says Stamp’s Having Fun stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a card using Echo Park Yankee Doodle 6 x 6 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Salvaged Hearts and Tim Holtz idea-ology MACHINERY HEADS.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps The Big Top as main focus of her tag. She also used layering stencil and distress paint to color the background. She also used the layering stars stencil with crackle paste and Foundry wax to highlight the texture.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
