This week we’re welcoming the lovely Carol Gunn into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Carol made a card using a Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flower Stamp Set. Her background is made using a Soft Plaid Background Stamp and Distress Oxide Inks and she used the water stamping technique to remove ink. She splattered with water and ink and added some torn dictionary text to finish.

Andrea made a tag with a clever sentiment from STAMPtember’s Inside Birthday Greetings stamp set. She also used Simon’s Mod Plants stamp set and Inside Friendship Messages stamp set for some beautiful floral and text elements in the background. The tag itself was cut with AALL & Create’s Tag It Yourself die set.

Anna-Karin made a tag using Simon Says Stamp Pumpkin Blessings stamp set, from the STAMPtember® release. She also added Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Dazzling Gold Gems to the tag. Both the pumpkins and the background were colored with watercolors.

Barbara made an autumn card using the stamp Wood Planks by Simon Says Stamp as the background. The leaves are from Tim Holtz’s Stampers Anonymous Sketchy Leaves CMS467 set, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s Autumn Greetings set. To color the card, she chose an autumn palette made with Ranger Distress Ink Pads.

Cheiron created a simple ink blended Autumn Card using the new STAMPtember® Fall Wreath dies ink blended with her favorite fall colors of Distress Oxides. She added a sentiment from the EZ Strips Fall and die set and finished with a splatter of Black Soot Distress Paint.

Emma is celebrating Autumn by creating a layered Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag. She used the Tim Holtz Nature’s Wonders Stamps and Simon Says Stamp Dies Bundle to create the leaves around the Photo Booth image and added a Theories Quote Chip to complete the make.

Kath created a spooky Halloween card using Costume Ghost Parade Dies and Best Witches 6″ x 8″ Stamp Set from the STAMPtember release along with Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Halloween Backdrops, Halloween Baseboard Window Frames and Mummy Cloth Trimmings.

Lols made a card using a STAMPtember® Scripty Birthday Background Stamp. She inked the stamp with White Pigment Ink and then dabbed some of the ink off to give it a more muted look before white heat embossing. She then blended Broken China Distress Ink over the top and splattered with water before adding a few stencilled stars. She used a STAMPtember® You Are Magic Die Set sentiment and finished with some Iridescent String and a few Silver Star Sequins.

Macarena made a love themed card using Simon Says Stamp Mod Plants stamp set in the background. She stamped, embossed and fussy cut the Tim Holtz Love Notes hearts and frames them with one of the 49 and Market Orchard Stacked Frames.

Maura loves to read and imagined a magical day filled with books and the time to read them. She used the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Best Witches stamps, a Simon Says Stamp Slimline card, , one of her favorite stencils, the Simon Says Stamp Grid stencil, and Simon’s Aegean ink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a tag using Simon Says Stamp Baked with Love Stamp on the background, then colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET B Markers and added sentiments with Tim Holtz idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers.

Zoey decorated her Ticket with Tim Holtz Collage Strip Large and Backdrops volume 5. She then used Simon Says Stamp Stencil Dots on Dots to add texture and finished it off with Ideaology photoboot. To add a romantic touch, she added a butterfly that she die cut with the matching exclusive Simon Says Stamp dies
