This week we are welcoming the lovely Lisa aka My Room Of Mixed Media  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog you are in for a real treat! Please pop by to say ‘Hi’ :-)

Lisa made a scrapbook card on a piece of watercolor cardstock. She stamped the background with American Crafts Vicki Boutin Escape Field Notes Clear Stamps and Dies first with Tsukineko Versamark Emboss Ink Pad and Ranger Embossing Powder Super Fine Clear for the bubbles, then with Ranger Archival Ink Pad Jet Black for some details and the butterfly. She used also Distress Oxide to color the background and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chips Paperie for the sentiment

Andrea has been surrounded by cold snowy weather for so long that it seemed the natural choice for this tag.  She used Tim Holtz’s Voltage die, Stacked Tags die, and Paper Dolls.

Anna-Karin made a cheerful art journal page about dancing in the rain, using a whole bunch of Tim Holtz products. Some of the stamps come from the Winged Things 1 and Good Thoughts sets. She also used Tim’s Mixed Media 3 die set by Sizzix.

Barbara has created a tag with all things Tim Holtz! She used an Etcetera tagTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 2Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Noble gentTim Holtz Sizzix  VoltageTim Holtz Sizzix Industrial and various Ranger Ink Distress paint.

Cheiron created a card with some motivation for a rainy day using lots of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps including: Mini Motivation  and Evolution on a watercolored background using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

Kath created a whimsical page in her Dina Wakley 6″x6″ White Media Journal using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Funny Farm, Distinguished, Stitches and Blockprint stamp sets and Hex Mini Layering Shifter Stencil, a reminder to look on the bright side, whatever the weather.

Lols is looking forward to warmer days and made a tag filled with summery sunshine. She used largest size in a Framelits Tags Die Set, a Funky Florals 1 Die Set, a Mini Detailed Butterfly and a selection of Distress Oxide Ink Pads

Macarena’s robot assembled with Tim Holtz Sizzix Robotic is rusting in the rain due to the Tim Holtz Sizzix Pipeline connected to the Impression Obsession Clouds and his leaky umbrella made from Tim Holtz Sizzix Globe

Maura dreamed of spring while she worked on her tag, and watched another snowstorm out the window. She used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Optimist ATC stamp, along with Tim’s Bubble Layering Stencil and Woven stencil

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix Lumber 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder for the texture on the background and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Pondering for the sentiment.

Sandra can’t wait before spring is here, so she made a card to celebrate the beauty of spring by using lots of Tim Holtz products like Rays Stencil with Crackle Texture Paste and Mixed Media die set to create texture, Distress Oxide in Broken China and Peeled Paint to add color and the Paper Dolls for a fun element.

Zoey used a bunch of distress paint to decor this Tag, she also used this sweet paper doll and Tim Holtz stickers to finish it off! She was inspired by the word “Shines” in the sentiment!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
